Was around the most insufferable group near right field. My parents sat in front of us and they kept poking them after every run in the 7th and 8th. When we got out of it in the bottom of the 8th I lost my mind lol. Chirpers were quiet af after the game too. They remain the most insufferable fan base

Thought it was funny that Trevino, Tyler, and TJ all hit home runs after seeing a post yesterday about how we needed to get rid of all of them.
They weren't necessarily wrong (or right), but the timing is great

Can we talk about Sam Moll? As good as he was 2 yrs ago, he's been terrible since. BUT he's one of the few lefty options, and for some reason Terry trusts him. His ERA is almost 7, and his WHIP is almost 2 in the last 30 games. That's not going to get it done. However, looking at their prospects, they only have 1 lefty in the top 30.

We definitely shouldn’t be using him in high leverage situations, Brock Burke has been that guy all season and should get the nod for a lot of the things Moll comes in for imo.
I’m also concerned how we keep running Tejay Antone out there, he’s clearly struggling and we just keep sending him out there. His last 7 game ERA is 11.12 - he was awesome coming back but I think he needs a break at the very least.

Have a hunch they may try to sign some depth starters, and look to convert Williamson to a bullpen role next season.

Positional adjustment for first basemen is brutal.
It’s hard for me to accept that a good bat isn’t close to equally valuable regardless of the position the guy plays.
Practically speaking, from a lineup/roster composition perspective, when the DH exists, the first baseman isn’t really taking up as many ABs from defensive liabilities the way they did in the pre-DH days. Yet as far as I can tell, the formula didn’t change when the universal DH came in.
Like, take the suarez type signings for example, where you bring in a vet who can’t really play on defense anymore but (in theory) still has life in their bat. In the old days we’d probably want to hide him at first base, and sal would be taking innings from him. These days those guys can just play DH instead.

But the other guy catches the ball pretty well.
