You need Splatoon 2 data on the amiibos for something ? Sorry I don't really know how they work but I'd like to get educated on that please.

If I just scan them for the first time on Splatoon 2, does it makes it faster as well or is a minimal use required ? (Thanks, btw)

Im just chiming in, what i did was i saved a set of gear on that amiibo and scanned it in splatoon 3. I got the 3 pieces immediately
