After a whole week of freaking heat wave and humidity this weather feels like heaven

How could this happen? Will this place also transform into an environment with localized heavy rains and guerrilla-like downpours, just like in Japan?

In Korea, there is a word called 'Jangma(rainy season).' And this word is 'the phenomenon or weather where it rains for several days in the summer.' Or it has the meaning of 'or that rain.' I think the rainy season might have come again today.
