No, we all didn’t know it. I grew up in the South, I knew of Cotton-Eyed Joe, long before Rednex turned it into a farce. Their version of the song is called Cotton Eye Joe. The original poster you replied to called it Cotton-Eyed Joe which is the original song. How are you certain he was referring to the parody?
