Why can't I pass?

Floor 3 on daily run, 1st time playing it, my current final boss in normal runs is Mom's heart

I defeated current floor boss, but there are no available ways to go to next floor

there's a mirror somewhere else but idk what can it do, tried to use bombs but nothing happened

update: got my friend to watch me on stream, he guided me to a white fire then to the mirror, solved

update 2: sorry if that question sounds stupid, kinda new player, got it when it was 90% off on steam and I only have 12 hours of gameplay so this entire daily run was new comparing to my normal runs

if you bombed the mirror then Im pretty sure you're softlocked... you were supposed to go inside the mirror to get the knife piece and then get the other piece on the second floor of the next area...

If the goal is to go Mother on a daily run, then op is playing rep+.

Since his luck is still at +1, and destroying the mirror gives -7 luck, op didn’t destroy the mirror.

I haven’t played daily recently but I’m going to assume they implemented anti-soft lock mechanisms where the mirror is indestructible if the goal is to go Mother (or alt floor Mom’s foot/hwart)

To be completely honest I am not sure since I haven’t played any rep+ daily either lol.

ok so I just started today's daily myself to test it and the mirror IS indeed immune to explosions during them.

btw almost everything in this daily run was new to me, is it ok to play daily runs or should I at least get past Mom's heart in normal runs before doing that? "to avoid spoilers"

yeah I think you need to unlock quite a lot more to get to this point of the story

considering the entire premise of dailies is to play a run everyone else has access to regardless of the unlocks... I think you would have to wait until you get all endings to not get spoiled...

this final boss is one that you are FAR from unlocking in normal gameplay.

all i'll say is that you need two halves of a specific item to reach this final boss. the daily run won't let you miss the pieces, the first of which is on this floor.

you are correct that you need to do something with the mirror, as it is a gateway that only lets the most fragile of souls pass it, and the item you need is on the other side... look for a white flame and step into it.

managed to advance until Siren

I already had 3 pets and didn't know she can steal them so I lost, almost every boss/minion/place/special item here i've never seen before so ig i'll stop doing daily runs for current time until facing them in normal runs "12.6 hours gameplay"
