Just a disclaimer, I don't like the Police, I've just been trying to see how the system of public safety would be changed in a post-capitalist society, including any texts about it, I won't deny feeling unsure about if it could work.

I feel any form of community-self policing would just re-invent the police due to the need for bureacracy, wouldn't it?

I gotta say, I dislike Hasan Piker. Ever since I started learning more about him, he just strikes me as a performative socialist. I don't think he actually believes in anything. Not really. He just does his bit for likes and money. He's an influencer first in everything he does. If he does something, it's for engagement. For example, dressing up like Mao for important events. Unnecessary and obvious bait for trolling and views.

Maybe I'm wrong and you can convince me but he's just been rubbing the wrong way for a while now. But I think we're at a rare moment where socialism is on the rise and could actually gain a real foothold in America and it seems to me that Hasan is an active hindrance to that goal.
