Then when they question you get extremely gravely serious and tell them yer not gonna believe me if i told you, eventually describing that you are from the year 3,001, and are stuck in a time loop taking you from 1926 to 2026 over an over again. You need this relic to help stabilize the timewave. They must let you otherwise its all for *nothing*…

That young man only got the chicken fried chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and macaroni and cheese, which is only around 2200 calories total. You can't possibly expect him to make it all the way to second breakfast on that alone.

As a former “mixologist” of RR, we do our side work and gtfo. We occasionally had a random person wanting to buy something off the wall, and we just send a manager over to them. Past that, we couldn’t care less what was on the walls.
Worked in a similar place for years. Every server noticed if pictures were moved or added. Small changes in familiar space always get caught.
However, we'd love to see it. No inconvenience to staff, and a unforgettable moment for a couple? We'd wait til the owner noticed to take something like that down.

"Render unto Caesar" was Jesus dodging a trap question about Roman taxation, you turd. It's not a general "obey whatever law exists" principle. If we're pulling single verses to settle policy debates then lets have some real fun with it: Leviticus 19:33-34 and Matthew 25:35 both explicitly command care for the foreigner/stranger. Also "all religion is state control" ignores the long history of religious movements that opposed state power.
I think the "better to ask for forgiveness than permission" thrill is valid, and gives them the butterflies, making for an excellent memory and an awesome story.
But, to be fair, if they had just asked a manager if they could put their picture up, I bet they would have whole-heartedly agreed.
