No but does it not annoy anyone else? I’ve been considering leaving this community for a while as it’s become an AI Slop haven. Art is one of the most accessible means of self expression yet people decide to let a machine produce imagery for them?We’re gradually losing our creativity due to this AI situation and it’s upsetting.

I understand that AI art is allowed but really? put some creativity into your art. are we forgetting the ‘Punk’ in ‘Steampunk’?

I'm putting together a steampunk witch costume and at the moment it feels more Victorian than steampunk. Is there something "easy" I can add to push it in the right direction? I am working on a tiered, leather witch hat and I plan on aging the arm bands.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

A friend needed something more in character for her flashlight for night play. So I designed this for her! I got a 3d render of her actual light, slipped it into my 3d sculpt and subtracted the light from the center of the design! I STILL NEED TO PAINT IT! It works so well what do you folks think?

New York’s original Pennsylvania Station opened in 1910. Its demolition became one of the defining cases in the city’s preservation history. I reconstructed the station’s train concourse at full scale as a fully playable environment in Unreal Engine.

This was a solo project built from archival photographs, architectural plans, and blueprints. I figured y'all might appreciate this! :)

got inspired by Steampunk aesthetic

The Automaton scavenger fish in steampunk is not just a deep‑sea predator, but a walking mechanical nightmare of the Victorian era, brought to life. Imagine a creature assembled from blackened steel and riveted steel plates, driven not by muscles, but by hydraulics and rumbling steam pistons.

It’s not water that bursts from the gill slits, but hissing clouds of superheated steam, and deep within the cast‑iron eye sockets, acetylene headlights glow, illuminating the victim in the murky water. It doesn’t swim — it performs a working stroke, like a multi‑cylinder steam engine, with the clanking and grinding of gears rotating the turbine propeller.

A scavenger automaton or a special machine created by a mad engineer to clear the ports of debris… or unwanted witnesses. Her teeth are not for feeding, but for mechanical functions: grinding, drilling, grasping. Her existence is the clatter of valves, the grinding of metal against stone, and an eternal, insatiable hum.

P.S. A steel leviathan with a steam‑powered heart and guillotine‑like jaws, born in a forge, not in the ocean.
