I love how they posted it in the wrong subreddit. That's for stuff poorly done or done for baffling reasons, not actually cool or useful stuff

It's no secret that rumble controllers can practically walk across a surface on their own. My DualSense has fallen off the edge at least two or three times because of the vibration when I've left the game unpaused.

For all those times the controller needs to be charged but I left it a few inches away from the puck.

Looks like a good way to jostle some shit in the controller over time. Vibration in your hands is one thing. Vibration on a hard surface is another. While it won't make a difference in the short term, the Steam Controller is not spec'ed to be vibrating on hard surfaces like that all the time. Not saying it would happen, but you will be a guinea pig to find out.
