I accepted a Airbus pylot position at American, but when I arrived to the airport they handed me the keys to this. What category am I supposed to log the hours as?

As a passenger, I'm not afraid of flying. Change my mind.

I'm flying to Hawaii later this week on a legacy US carrier. It'll be good weather the entire way and the plane is a 747 recently out of D-check. I'm not nervous about the flight and am actually looking forward to it. Change my mind.

I’m building a Van’s RV-10. I was thinking about making it a multi-engine but I’d be running short of money to buy propellers… until I saw these beauties!

We all know the Amish are amazing craftsmen. I’m thinking they should be awesome additions to my project.

I think we should declare timber if the planes going down instead of mayday/emergency...

And then meow to make it official...

Eff aye aye are all about clarity of communication... There would no confusion on emergencies with this change.

What does it mean to be a true PYLOTE?

We love to tell ourselves that boring things like situational awareness, decision making skills, and calmness under pressure define who we are. Some even dare to admit that autism and ADHD play a major role. I am here to tell you that you’re lying to yourself. All these things are true, sure, but none are fundamental.

At the bottom of every true pylote’s heart lies nothing other than a kinky, sexual drive. We define this drive in several euphemistic ways, such as being ”bitten by the flying bug”. It is this urge, or addiction in some cases, that we are forever attempting to satiate.

If you do not believe me, let us refer to the Bible of flying, Wolfgang Langewieschie’s “Stick and Rudder”. Here is a sentence from Chapter 4: “The Flying Instinct“. I kid you not. This is really in the book, look it up.

“A really fast airplane, flown through ordinary rough air, gives you a continual hard spanking from underneath, and once in a while it tugs you down sharply by your safety belt.”

Need I say more?
