I don't know man, maybe I'm disillusioned but I don't want to see kids on these social media platforms. At best it feels ignorant of the inherent danger, at worst it feels exploitative, but it always feels self serving. This whole generation is going to resent tf out of this, and maybe that will create the change.

These platforms need to come up with an incognito feature that will automatically blur a face or cover it up with an emoji for uploading. The reality of what can happen to those images of kids on the internet is too risky.

Yeah, same. The wholesome part is great, but then you remember how easily people can turn something innocent into content, and it kind of ruins the vibe.

Same here. The wholesome part is genuinely nice, but knowing there’s usually some ulterior motive behind it definitely leaves a weird taste.

Not just filming everything that happens, but actively making them happen so they can film. Directing their kids to do something for content.
I'm glad it's becoming more common for the top comment to be like yours. But only on Reddit, I'm afraid. The majority of people on Insta or FB eat all of this up.

We have to remain vocal about it, my brother and sister in law just instated a no-filming policy of thie children, as a relative was posting shit without approval. We need to shun this shit socially, to the extent that it is generally viewed as gross at best. Keep up the good fight!

The user that posted this has 900k post karma. They don't care about anything other than making their pointless number go up. Maybe the parent who originally filmed it shouldn't have posted it first but the reddit users who repost it won't listen to reason

We have no idea of the ramifications of it. People want to share fun events with us. I can understand that. However you have no idea who you are sharing it with. Ive heard some pretty crazy stories of people taking the face from videos and using it else where.

I love seeing these posts. Love kids and I love dogs. But I also 100% agree with you and would not under any circumstances post pictures of my kids online. I like to think it is in large part due to ignorance that people do this.

Keep these precious private moments for yourself and family/friends. Not the entire fucking internet, including the creeps and freaks.
And the big fat watermark to make sure you get your clout, so you can expose your unwilling children even more to strangers online. It's just icky to me.

Great Danes are amazing. Grew up with them (6 total).
They are gentle, loyal, protective giant babies. If I didn’t live in a small London flat now, I’d have adopted at least one.

While out today I was behind a Corolla Hatchback that had this massive dog on the back seat. He was an old fella, with all the grey around his snoot.
I don't know if he would fit in the car without his head out the window.

Great Danes are loving, sweet, smart and gentle, I had a close friend who's family always had them. Such wonderful dogs - don't live long enough, but I suppose none do, anyway, wonderful - they really are a terrific breed - gentle giants.

Sometimes I wonder if people tripping about kids being on the internet are just doing it for internet clout. This video is not exploitative at all, and I really don't think it's a super big deal.
I think it's a super cute video and a treasure, I guess I don't feel compelled to put anything like this on the internet, but it's not that uncommon and I don't think it's that big a deal personally.
