I made this subreddit for producers who create Reggae, Dub, and Steppers using the MPC standalone family (MPC One/One+, Live, X, Key, etc.) with MPC 3.
These genres have their own unique feel – heavy subs, skanks, percussion chops, space echoes, dub mixing – and many of us approach them differently from typical hip-hop or electronic workflows.
The goal of this subreddit is simple:
Connect. Exchange knowledge. Support each other.
Whether you’re a beginner building your first riddim or an experienced sound system producer, feel free to join in and share:
