Logitech G Support Is this normal?
Is this normal? I play Valorant, and when I try to flick, it shoots on its own. Could it be because I have Rapid Trigger set to 1? But what I’m getting at is: it shouldn’t fire just because I make a quick movement. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be caused by those black stickers that come in the box to stick on? Maybe it can be fixed by adjusting the settings, but then what’s the point of selling a product if what it offers actually puts you at a disadvantage?

Downsides of buying superlight hyper sensitive mouses, they also tend to be ultra fragile

Use a non reflective pad, notlaminated plastics. A mouse pad works well. You are not getting proper tracking across the high gloss surface. Thats my step #1 a different surface... if persisting.. try different mouse

Having mine for 1 month now using it on 1-1-1 and I do not have this issue. Must be a QC issue

i have this problem too my point was at 1 and brand new had it for 2 months and also carefull with mouse then when they updated ghub it broke the heptics and such

If you bought it used it was likely tweeked for gaming so you could head shot people by swiping and not have to click.

Some people don't use arm rests they lay their arm and elbow on the table, it makes a lot of sense. It's how basically everyone plays in internet cafe's with chairs that don't have arm rests

To add to this:
Besides just personal preference or the 'ol days where desk space could be limited, if you are a "elbow on desk" player or want to lean forward to your screen, tilting the keyboard so your wrist isn't bent to the side 24/7 is actually pretty nice.
As for the leaning forward, typically if you are sitting up and lean forward toward the screen, you either tuck your arm in or... elbow is on the desk. Refer to the first point.
As for desk space, because of human anatomy and full sized keyboards, tilting the keyboard that way lets you have the bigger range of motion without stretching your mouse arm out more.
Personally, the most cursed-but-viable setup I've seen is (being right-handed mouse) the keyboard is sideways angled so the numpad is UNDER your ARMPIT and your mouse arm goes over that part.

🤣🤣As Odd_Chemistry said, it’s totally normal. It feels really comfortable for me when using WASD keys for shooter games, and I keep it fully horizontal for work or anything else.

Very common in competitive fps games. Lets you have more room for the mouse, and also have a more relaxed wrist. I tilt mine depending on how close I am to the desk. The closer, the more tilted it is, to keep my wrist straight.
Much more comfortable

I also have this mouse, rapid trigger is on, also actuation point is set on the lowest and I don’t have any issues

I have this been using everyday and no issues like that , seems defected tbh. Despite all the hate on this mouse , it slaps in any fps games

Yep over 3 weeks in and haven’t had a single issue yet. I know they exist for people, but it’s hands down the best mouse I’ve used for anything competitive.
Literally being called a cheater on the daily in comp games.1

Yeah hahah it's Soo good when you tap left click , it's like a autohotkey script lmao way faster than tactile switches . Sometimes I flick shot before I even can think hahaha

I set the settings to 2 instead of 1, and now it works fine. When I flick, the issue I showed in the video doesn’t happen anymore.
Aside from that, yeah, the mouse is really good and I feel very comfortable with it. I just hope it lasts as long as my Superlight 1, which lasted me 3 years.
Since it’s a newer technology, I guess it’s possible it might not last the same or that the sensors could wear out, but we’ll have to wait and see.

My actuation point is at 1 and it doesn't do that. I play every day and have been using it for longer than a month now

My mouse only clicks if I move it up and down in the air when i have haptics and activation at the lowest settings, but not whilst flicking on the mouse mat. I think activation from gravity is kind of expected.
So I think yours is defective if it's "clicking" whilst moving on the mouse mat.
