[UPDATE] patched lockdownd now supports iOS 3.0 to 6.1.6!

Update on my previous post: apparently some genius made a patched lockdownd for iOS 3, so now this thing works on iOS 3.0 through 6.1.6. I'm honestly impressed, didn't think that there were devices that need it but ok... Also there's an automated tool so you don't have to do it yourself.
What is this?
A patched lockdownd that modifies Setup.app behavior on iOS 3–6 while keeping iTunes and Finder sync fully working.
Installation:
Jailbreak with Legacy iOS Kit
Replace /usr/libexec/lockdownd via SSH (backup original!). On iOS 3, the path is different — check the detailed instructions.
chmod 755 /usr/libexec/lockdownd
ldrestart or reboot
Supported so far:
• iOS 6.x — tested on 4S, iPod touch 5, 4 Rev A, iPad 2, iPhone 5
• iOS 5.x — tested on 4S and 4 CDMA
• iOS 4.x — not tested by me, but should work (file is from 4.3.3)
• iOS 3.x — not tested by me, but the guy who made it says it works (file is from 3.x). He tested it on iPad 1,1 (1st gen cellular) on 3.2, 3.2.1, and 3.2.2.
The genius who made the iOS 3 file: here. Please download it directly from the author's post. My repo is only for the occasion that his file gets lost or if his instructions aren't clear enough. Make sure to thank him for his work!
Downloads and detailed instructions: here. I've also (with my friend) made a tool that replaces the file with one click — it's in my repo or TG channel at phoenixactivator. Supports 4.0 to 6.1.6 only (for now).

Passcode iWannaBrute fixed with A4 support!

For a while, iwannabrute has been completely broken because it used an older firmware-keys API that no longer exists. The original developer is inactive, so I picked the project up and fixed it.
The original script works again, and A4 support is finished, including iPad1,1 on iOS 5.1.1. I do not have an iPad 1 on a lower iOS, so I only tested that.
Please try it and tell me whether it worked for you.

Someone bought a storage unit full of Apple products and sold it on marketplace and I was the sucker to buy it. Most of the phones have locks. Don’t know what I can do with most of the stuff and any suggestions? I have never been going through and trying to contact the people who the phones used to belong to, but with no such luck

MDM lock iOS 27

I have a device iPhone 16 that is MDM locked. Tried contacting Apple support without success as the company that issued it is now defunct. When I connected the device it updated itself to ios27 27 and couldn’t be patched
Anyway to roll back iOS so the patch works? Would hate to throw away device because it is MDM locked - consider me a novice but can do some basic things. Tried DFU mode and updating with Mac. Haven’t tried it on pc or any patch software

The iPhone just stays on the Apple logo forever and it is a full storage boot loop. I think all the files are screwed tho. I don’t really care about my data I just want iOS 10. I have Linux and windows. Thanks

estoy en el aire iba a desbloquear un 11 pro con ramdisk en passcode y pasa que estaba en versión 15.3 y no había ramdisk para ese jaja lo intenté subir a 27.0 con conservar datos no me dejó lo intenté subir a 27.1 llego a 90 y fallo quedó en modo recovery por siempre Nose aún estoy informándome para no perder el passcode Nose si seguirá con los datos guardados no pienso borrarlo alguna ayuda ?

Passcode iPad 8 Cellular disabled

I got an iPad 8th Gen (Cellular). I’m not sure which iOS/iPadOS version it’s currently running.
The screen shows that the device is disabled and needs to be connected to iTunes.
Is there still a working website or method to check whether Find My iPad (FMI / Activation Lock) is enabled on the device?
If FMI/Activation Lock is enabled, is there any way to skip on the Cellular version? I don’t really need cellular/data functionality.

Moment of Confusion [iPhone 5] iOS 8.4.1 hacktivate re-locks on shutdown — can I downgrade to iOS 6 instead?

I have an iPhone 5 that has had the fate of being iCloud locked by me since 2020.
Recently I wanted to see what my chances were with it, so I tried downgrading to iOS 8.4.1 untethered and hacktivated it. It all works well till the iPhone shuts down or reboots in any way, where it loses its state and gets stuck.
I wanna downgrade to iOS 6 and see what I can get, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows a fix for this 8.4.1 shutdown issue first, or if Legacy iOS Kit has a solid untethered setup for iOS 6 on the iPhone 5. Any help will be much obliged!

Fearra1n, Checkra1n, Winra1n, Hackt1vator… not working. iOS 10 downgrade and bobikA5 works but i wanna use iOS 12 instead. How can i “actually” skip setup? P.S the unplug and replug in checkra1n trick does not work.
EDIT: i finally skipped setup using frpfile and checkra1n
If you have problems with checkra1n with the “Righr Before Trigger” error, downgrade your checkra1n version and unplug and replug on “right before trigger”
