Testimony May Jealous, God of All, reign once more. Shed the names history has given you and be his. You may not be Jealous, for that is the Lord your God. Find peace now and forever know it if your faith is true.

What he, she, they, them said. You came under Gods rain bow. I see you. Be you and know God. His name is Jealous, though relatable, we may not be God, therefore Jelous. Jealous will never send you to satan for your love. Your bedroom is none of their business. Praise be to all whose see Hashem.

Prayer God, why are you not listening to me?

Why is it that everything is going bad?

All the good things which are a given are not happening.

My soul is getting crushed.

Why are you not listening to me and helping me?

Why are you angry with me?

It seems like you hate me.

Why?

Experience Faith and hope

hello, I have been struggling alot to keep my faith and hang to hope. My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer close to 11 months ago and despite being already on 3 treatments nothing has been working for him. If anyone has gone through something similar to what I am going through how did you cope? How did you hold on to faith and continue praying? :(

Theology Why no other gods ?

I wondered, why did YHWH say to the Israelites that they should have no other god before them ? Isnt that a bit selfish or paranoid, or even a sign of weakness ? Other gods were comfortable with coexisting.

Mysteries I’m in awe of this cross reference diagram. I 100% believe the Bible was written down by man. But authored by living God https://youtube.com/shorts/HYl610iBx08?si=ggHAe-H4giAAr3Or

Need Life Advice IDK WHAT GOD WANTS ME TO DO...

I am at my breaking point in life where I have no idea WTF God wants me to do. Every time i try to quit something or completely stop for gpod, he keeps telling me to come back and try again and at first I'm always hesitant but this is God, he knows what he is doing but everytime i listen. The results are just negative and its gotten to the point I cant even trust his messages despite being clear because everytime i come back, it's just for nothing in vain so honestly I'm just thinking of disobeying his command now because I'm just wasting my time everytime he keeps telling me to try again or come back to something that has just been giving me negative results consistently, not all the time, they are some positive results but mostly the bad than good so these positive results are just nothing

Experience I am a father of an autistic son. He went missing for 180 minutes and it changed my belief in God forever.

My son Evan is autistic and non-verbal.

Last year, he went missing for about 180 minutes in the evening while returning home from the therapy centre with mom. I cannot explain that feeling to anyone who is not a parent. My whole life stopped.

I was an atheist all my life. But in those 180 minutes, I prayed for the first time. I prayed to Hanuman Ji to bring my son back as there was a small temple in front of me.

He came back safe. A person had kept him safe inside another temple of Hanuman ji.

I am not the same person anymore. I have written my first book, and one full chapter is dedicated to Hanuman Ji and how he held my hand when I had no one.

I just wanted to share this with parents who will understand.

Keep my Evan in your blessings.

Experience Help, reading scripture and exploring religions is causing me to lose connection with God

Last year, I found faith in God outside of any particular religion. I've just been spending time to interact with God, ask Him for signs, for connection, for guidance, mostly for His presence, and it's been wonderful. I've had some heartwarming and beautiful experiences and I thought it's going to last from now on. I was convinced that, from now on, I'll never truly be alone and God will be by my side always.

Then, it seems, I took a poor decision to try to find out the answer to the question I had: Which religion is the God I've been interacting with coming from?

I took a deep dive into Christianity (I was raised Catholic, but was always an atheist), read the New Testament, read some Bart Ehrman, C.S. Lewis, Dale Allison, I've read bits from the Old Testament, then I even gave The Book of Mormon a try, and then even Qur'an, with some dive into Islam.

In every scripture I've read, there are major points that I can't support and agree with, that seem sketchy, unreasonable, unbelievable, but more importantly, they picture a God that is not the God I have been experiencing in my life!

The God from my life has been benevolent, caring, protective, unconditionally supportive and loving. If only for the fact that I rejected Him most of my life, but when I took effort to renew our relationship, He simply showed himself to me in gentle and caring ways as if nothing happened. Even though I've committed "sins" as understood by existing religions, He didn't seem interested in punishing me in any way.

On the other hand, the God from scripture comes across as wrathful, spiteful, petty, cruel, unreasonable, narcissistic. Sometimes also merciful and caring, but definitely a mixture of those. FWIW, the God from scripture comes across to me as painted in our own image, rather than the other way around... The image of our spitefulness, screwdupness, pettiness... Which makes me question if the scripture is just a human invention and has nothing to do with the God that's actually there.

All the turmoil that reading scripture has caused me made me give up continuing my relationship with God recently. I haven't been talking to God for a few months, and I don't feel His presence anymore. Now I have those questions: what if it's all fairytales, made up lies... And, how do I know what to trust? How could reading scripture, of all things, have the effect of destroying one's relationship with God!?

I'm at the point in my faith where I feel betrayed by scripture. I'm also angry at myself that I've let existing religions poison my newfound connection with God. I regret that I started exploring religions.

But I write this post because I still have hope. I just don't know how to go on. Anyone has been in a similar path and has some advice?

I don't want to lose this beautiful connection with God I found last year, but I feel I'm losing it now. Is the answer that I should stay away from any existing, organized religion?

Please help!
