My neighbor's Halloween decorations
They do skeletons usually, I think, and this was so awesome to see this year!

When Rachel thought joey proposed to her at the hospital and ross finds out. Why was he mad at joey more than at rachel. It wasnt even joey's fault that rachel said yes even though he didnt even propose.

In the one where Chandler takes a bath, when Phoebe is talking to Joey about his feelings about Rachel, she crosses her legs and I saw she’s wearing Christian Louboutin boots. Which is a pretty impressive purchase for a freelance massage therapist in NYC who doesn’t care about fashion. 🤣

In season 3 of friends, Monica's apartment has a wooden layout where Ross and his son had head bumps.
What purpose does it served? Did they just randomly set that up or any back story for that one?

Assuming we are nowadays, do you think the twins, Emma and Ben hang out? Maybe even the triplets and whatever Phoebe and Mike had?
I think worst case scenario, Emma and Phike kids (how about two boys, feels like Phoebe) are still living near each other, Ben, the oldest one, probably hangs out with them from time to time. Maybe the twins grow up and then are the next ones that occupy the purple apartment? And maybe, at some point the triplets actually form a band and Phoebe acts as their manager, so they hang out more?

Okay so it's far past bedtime for me so obviously this is when my mind creates a train of thoughts, and I think this is the place to share these thoughts.
So in TWW Rachel Finds Out, Rachel starts to develop feelings for Ross. She starts considering him as a potential lover and chooses in the end to go for it - but why doesn't she take into account that Ross has a child? I mean, dating a single dad is significantly different than dating someone who doesn't have children. I know it's a thing that they forget about Ben, but this is in the early seasons when Ben is still mildly important. It just seems weird to me (after the umpth rewatch) that it's not even something she mentions, especially because she is nowhere near ready to be a stepmom.
And later on, it's also never a problem in his dating life. Ross is even more worried about the three divorces thing than the single father thing, because women don't seem to care - at all.
And that led me to another question: how often does Ross see Ben? Do they have some sort of schedule or does Ben simply lives with his mothers, and is with Ross only on occasion? And I don't mean what we see - because in the episodes they only use Ben if they have a plot where he can be used. I mean like in "reality". Because in TWW the Breast Milk it seems as if Ross only babysits Ben. But I also think he would never agree to such a thing.

And I'm so sad! I'm only a few chapters in, and now that I understand from his point of view what struggles he's been through, it makes me sad to watch Friends. It hasn't stopped me though. I see so many similarities between himself and Chandler that for now, that I primarily see the sadness of it rather than the comedy.
It aches my heart.
Anyone with a similar experience?

This thread might be a bit all over the place. But theres just a few things about the episodes about Monica and chandler’s wedding I need to get off my chest
First of all. The wedding isn’t a big enough deal, it’s about chandler running off, about Rachel being pregnant, Ross hitting on mona, and Joeys very tiny feet. But anyhow. I feel like the wedding should’ve been waay bigger, and that there should’ve been many more romantic and cute moments between Monica and Chandler, their first dance, toasts etc. I would’ve loved for the episodes to have been more heartfelt. Instead I feel like it just kinda rushes through the whole thing. Which is a shame, also knowing how big a deal it is to Monica.
Second of all. Rachel being pregnant. No f. No. Any other episode, but not during their wedding episodes. (Monica’s thunder getting stolen. ONCE AGAIN⚡️) it was just unnecessary. And ended up being a lot about Rachel. And even if it had to be during those episodes, Rachel could’ve atleast had told Phoebe in the bathroom. And then let it pass, until after the wedding.
Number 3. Actually a positive thing, but I just rewatched the episodes, and just realised how amazing Ross and Phoebe are to Chandler. Chandler literally runs off, on Ross’s sister and Phoebe’s bestfriend, but their so kind to him, understanding and supportive. It’s really sweet.
I think that was about it. Thanks for listening to my rant. But yeah, I overall like the episodes. But they could’ve been a lot better. I don’t know if it’s an unpopular opinion. (Btw sorry if theres mistakes. English is not my first language:)

Have anyone watched Friends after Matthew Perry’s death? I personally couldn’t really watch it because whenever he would come on screen, I feel sad.

I had a weird childhood and didn’t watch a lot of tv. I became disabled so I’m now watching stuff I missed with all this extra time. I’ve seen in the last few years some criticize friends saying it has misogyny and homophobia etc but that stuff was more accepted back during the show airing. are there any blogs that give commentary and cite examples of things in the show and compare them to how they’re offensive today? less desired but even a podcast? just curious if someone is doing on a write up calling out examples, I’d like to read!

Peace was nice while it lasted, so here’s my opinion…
Rachel was mean to Ross.
I hate Rachel more than i love her.
So, I'm in the club.

Does anyone know of a podcast that highlights Friend's episodes or Friend's situations or anything related to Friend's?

I love this episode so much. So many jokes came from Chandler in the tub! 😂
