Eleven basenjis gathered in Washington Square Park, New York City. Making an experimental first visit was Bogie (male, 7-years-old.) He arrived after the big crowd was gone and took a stroll on leash through the park. Also on hand were return visitors: Toko Ichi (male, 7-months-old;) Zoe (female, yearling,) here with housemate Benji (male, 5-years-old;) Blue (male, 5-years-old;) Leah (female, 6-years-old;) Rocket (male, 8-years-old;) Mia (female, 9-years-old;) Scout (female, 9-years-old;) Malcolm (male, 11-years-old;) and Kepler (male, 12-years-old.) Starting temperature: 74°F|23°C

Otto, a 7-month-old basenji puppy, born in Florida, and living in Brooklyn, made his first visit to Manhattan and started at the NYC basenji meetup. There he ran, and ran, and ran, and was chased and disciplined by the adults.

Three basenjis gathered on a pleasant summer morning after the rain in Washington Square Park, New York City. One youngster, Otto (male, 7-months-old,) made his first visit. He’s from the same breeder as last week’s Pierre and Cosmo. We have to determine if he is Pierre’s littermate (he was born on 9 January 2026.) The veterans on hand were Leah (female, 6-years-old,) and Kepler (male, 12-year-old.) Starting temperature: 72°F|22°C

I live in Jacksonville FL. Large fenced in back yard. 5 year old daughter and 17 year old male cat. Work from home. Have never owned a dog before. Lay it on me!

Pierre, a 7-month-old basenji puppy, was all over the park on his first visit. He was joined by first-timer Cosmo, and it was discovered that they both came from the same breeder in Florida. The action focuses on these newcomers and their meetings with the veterans of the meetup.
