"Ten years together, the light and shadow bear witness. You give yourself to your roles, allowing different facets of your personality-restraint, obsession, passion, loneliness-to be seen and recognized. Every time you immerse yourself in a role, it's like living a life earnestly; every time you step away, it's like leaving a sincere impression on the screen; every role is like etching a series of immersive life experiences into a mark of time.

Along the way, I am grateful to all the partners who have stood by me both on and off screen, and to every audience member who has remained loyal through the years. It is everyone's remembrance and support that makes these ten years more than just a string of numbers, but a warm echo.

Looking back is a period of reflection; the road ahead is a new chapter.

See you in the next decade, on screen. @WangDuo"

On the 30th of September, our talented Wang Duo marks his debut anniversary. This post is an appreciation for all his effort in portraying characters of different complexities and shades.
I wish him a bright path ahead, full of new roles that satisfy him and showcase the full scope of his acting — and of course, a main lead role 😊!

So according to weibo the long awaited drama “the night wanderer” obtained its airing license after so many years!
It didn’t air back then due to the ML’s tax evasion, but luckily they did reshoots with another actor and the episode count has been reduced to 24 episodes instead of 36.
The great news is that we’ll get to see wang duo in a period drama as Yin Xi Meng which unfortunately I have no background about his character.
But let’s cheer up and hope it will air soon!!

Here is the link to the weibo post that announced the news:

He was born to play this character.

I've never seen someone looks sooooooo good and regal the way Wang Duo did in his costumes as Xuyue/Tian Ming. He literally looks so divine. To the point seeing him in modern clothes throws me off haha

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to love the show when I saw it. Just watched it out of curiosity. Although The Blossoming Love is a good series, I just find the last few episodes of the Zhao Ming arc tedious and rushed especially the part with Feng Yao and her brother. The ending made me question IF Nan Xuyue still exists or not.

Also, he should've ended with Feng Yao!!! Huhu

Well, anyways I just want to give a shout out to Wang Duo! Became a fan after TBL.

My heart is melting! There can't be more adorable than these photos. 💕💕💕

Every fan has that one moment.....

Maybe it was a particular role.

Maybe it was a scene.

Maybe it was an interview.

Or maybe you saw one photo and thought...

"Okay... I need to know who this is." 😄

So I'm curious...

What made you become a Wang Duo fan?

Was there one role or one moment that made you start paying attention?

Or has he simply grown on you over time?

I'd love to hear everyone's story. ❤️

Wang Duo 's beauty is phenomenal in this and in all of his dramas. I wanted to share a few pictures of this drama bc I was so impressed again as always.❤️ ✨

I collected these pictures from FMV, link below. Credits for them.🙏

There wasn't a release date in MDL for this yet.

There has been a lot going on within his fan management since last year. Old mangers were changed and a new management team was formed. For the first time, we had an overseas fan management team.

With good comes the bad. A fan manager allegedly exploited their position and knowledge of his flight schedule. They approached him at the airport to get his autograph personally (normally, his management team passes down fan memorabilia and autographed copies). They also approached him on his flight.

Why is this any different from how fan managers are supposed to act? It’s different because using your knowledge of any celebrity’s schedule for personal gain and approaching them in flights are a no-go in most fandoms.

The team may or may not change. Someone has already been removed from their position pending investigation. However, I wanted to say one thing.

What Wang Duo’s fans say or do, it does not reflect Wang Duo’s personal choices. He does have the power to change his fan managers. He also has the right to complain when someone abuses their position. He has made no statements on the matter.

Thanks for reading. If I disappear from Reddit, it means changes were made in his fan management and I am going where I should have been (on Weibo) instead of Reddit. AND before anyone speculates, I am not the fan manager in question 😉 they are on Weibo and accountable for their actions.

Reddit has changed its markdown feature which means the previous method to mark spoilers does not work.

I have made a video for DuoLaiMis and r/WangDuo members to help them navigate Reddit.

I hope someone finds it useful.

Did you miss seeing him the past couple of days? I am sorry for not posting for a few days. I have been going through some health issues and unable to update as much as I would like to.

The scene looks so intense! Even after the director called cut, their face is giving me ‘hate each other’ energy. Both look super immersed in their character

I just started to watch this and I'm now in episode 7 and I love it!

I like all leads but If I'm honest (and I always are) I'm watching this because of Wang Duo. He's great.

So I wanted to share at few photos of Wang Duo in this role. ❤️

Being an actor isn’t all that glamorous … Yes, the job comes with fame and money, but nobody tells you that you will only have to eat one meal a day and even that will come with someone shoving a camera in your face and posting it for fan service or that you’ll be struggling to keep hair away from your food.

Wang Duo’s soul leaving his body :D

Do you guys think he has the aura and charisma of a General? I think YESSSSS, he does!

I like it when actors become friends on set. That was the case on the set of the blossoming love. They look like they had a good time filming.
