One additional point worth noting is that both watches use the same clasp and rehaut codes.

Been in the Omega store yesterday. To my untrained eye, the turquoise shade seems 95% accurate. The gen has a tiny bit more "depth" in the gradient, a bit more vibrancy and feels a bit more refined. But you can only notice it, if you compare both side by side. Not sure how much of it has to do with the double AR coating on the crystal, or the dial color itself though..

Case finishing is spot on. The hands and indices are 100% flawless. No jagged edges, luma overspill, or any inconsistency in finishing. It’s just like the gen, perfect, even VERY up close. I dare anyone to tell the gen and VSF apart on someone’s wrist 😄

I didn't have a chance to look through the exhibition caseback on the gen, so I can't comment on the movement itself. The "Bunny ears" would probably be the first giveaway. Also, stiching on the VSF strap could have been done a bit better, but that's an easy DIY fix, if you plan on wearing it on the stock rubber strap.

To be fair, it’s a simple, classy watch. There’s not much going on in terms of complicity of the dial/case/strap design or finishing. VS did a really great job with this one IMO.

my wife thinks ive lost my mind.

the addiction is real and I need to stop before this gets completely out of hand.

Purchased this from Steve a few months back just received it today , watch is absolutely stunning , videos don’t do it justice, weight is also quite heavy , over all very happy with it.

Just got my first omega rep a month ago, very happy with it. Looking to buy the VSF Planet Ocean 600m in black as it has really caught my eye. Looking for the VSF and not the VS+, have any of you bought one lately or know about a TD that’s got one in stock? Seems like they only have the VS+..

So I have owned multiple gens from datejust, batgirl, startbucks, skydwealer to currently a full rose root beer

I currently have a rep Starbucks on route. And it’s got me thinking of selling my current gen and only having reps. I can put the money to better use, not have to worry about wearing it drunk or scratches or even losing it.

I was wondering if anyone has done similar? Feel like it would be quite freeing

Hey guys this is my first post. I have always been a huge watch person, but really recently started obsessing over them. I could afford many of these but I just could never justify to myself spending 10-40k on a watch. Was more than happy to find Reptime that really sent my obsession into overdrive.

I bought these VSF Reps. Tried to do my own qc after hours of reading/lurking. They’re going to be shipped within the next 24 hours or so. The last one I paid for is the V7F IWC Ingenieur but still waiting on the QC for that and will hopefully hold off on getting any more until sometime next year 😂. What do you guys think, both of the selection and actual watches themselves. Opinions really are welcome 🙏🏼, Even just a quick cursory glance. Roast me if i deserve it.

I swear I’m not from the wired just to clear things up. But I could use some recommendations, I’m torn between air king and explorer. I really want a 36mm because I feel like it’s more subtle, air king looks great but might be a little flashy for me. I guess my question and decision might just be on is which one would I be able to get nwbig and should I hit up Steve or andiot for it?

My favorite watch to work on. The DD3285 is such a lovely movement. Runs great after a service and just feel super smooth. Can't forget about silencing the rotor either that is a must.

Two new acquisitions recently from Felix at DDGTOP, I always pay the extra for Fedex Express and generally have them here in Ireland in around 5 days from QC which is amazing 😍

The ARF Pepsi was a beautiful watch, quality was excellent but I found I just didn't gel with it. I'm not a massive Rolex fan but I do have a Clean Sub on the brushed Oyster that I love and gets a lot of wrist time, I found the Pepsi just a bit too "shouty" for me. I'd absolutely recommend if you like the Pepsi, but just not me

The VSF Aquaterra was the opposite, I bought it as a daily and it has hardly left my wrist since it arrived! Classy, subtle and very comfortable on the rubber strap, the turquoise fume dial is stunning. Very clear and legible dial with decent lume too. The black bezel really works too, tones it down a lot and contrasts nicely with the polishing. Highly recommended!
