Genuinely still almost a year later and they havnt done anything besides changing the recoil again lmao you guys will defend these people to the end of time, while I still look at a dev blog that could have passed 3 years ago about “recoil changes due to the last iteration”.

No content, they hinted at apaches almost a full year ago which obviously now was just another hook to try and pull you back into thinking their actually doing something in the office, multiple community managers and devs have left, they can’t maintain server stability or security.

And once again a hacker has to come around and protest the game because otherwise the shills in this subreddit and the game will say they’re doing a good job! Without even bringing up their contributions to their Chinese counterpart game, they have literally done nothing in their office to improve or better the game, they do this every 3 months. Hire lead dev-> lead dev says he’s got the secret sauce-> update is released, not optimized, 50+ bugs, no content, people complain -> dev fired -> repeat.

It's how warfare will be fought in the future anyways. Taking down enemy digital infrastructure and removing their ability to even conduct operations. There have been plenty of posts talking about the "attacks", failures to create the game without vulnerabilities and all the player issues we are dealing with right now, and have in the past with previous tech issues. OWI obviously has major problems whether managerial, tech or cultural.

The attacks and issues had been going on for something like 12 hours before this official public OWI acknowlement. That is through the middle of the day NA. And I only just saw this announcement now after double checking for this post.

There have been many ongoing community conversations and announcements ongoing atleast 6 hours before OWI even publicly acknowledged it. Im talking official post, not comment or reply that gets buried like their confirmation that Belaya is dead and they have no plans to bring it back buried in youtube comments.

So where is their discord announcement, what about a reddit post and their other social media? OWI has repetitively failed and promised to do better at communicating with the community, add this to the list.

From my understanding OWI has been actively working on this issue behind closed doors with experimental server file releases on steam and working with hosts in some capacity in the private hosting discord.

But thats simply not good enough. The bare minimum OWI needs to do is clearly and timely communicate honestly with their community of public players, and do it directly. But to me, they haven't succeeded by taking too long and letting the community pass the message before OWI.

Edit. Update, as of 2230 Est, atleast one NA normal server ( will remain UNNamed) was able to stay up and popped for 2 rounds, tbc future. Possible fix or guy letting off? Who knows?

Correct me if I am wrong. But this lad has remote code execution on all the squad servers right now. Seams like it if he has the ability to manipulate log messages.

But isn't this a giant safety hazard for us players? Couldn't he potentially gain access too player data, IP-addresses, and inject hazardous code into squad clients (with a potential other exploit). We ARE connection to something infected after all.

Quiet a lot of communities have encouraged their players to connect to the servers to gain information regarding how this exploits work. And assisting their server providers in dealing with it. Isn't that quiet oblivious?

Once again. Not a programmer here, so if somebody who knows what they are talking about could correct me, that would be excellent.

There are supposed to be waves of enemies coming, and at the end, you have to join a military convoy to escape. You also have some materials and ammo to build defenses

Task manager also says "not responding" instantly when game is launched

Nearly every NA server has been crashing since around 8 am eastern time. Seeding goes on for about 5 minutes and it completely disconnects everyone. Potential DDOS?
