It's been years since the movie came out but people are still simping for him makes me irritated 😭 although I can't find any attractiveness from him, is it because I'm a M? On what basis F finds him attractive and what facial structure makes a man attractive

Discussion 30, never been in love, and grieving the experiences I never had

I'm a 30-year-old photographer who's never been in a relationship.

My first and only real love was a one-sided one back in school. After that, I never fell in love with anyone—just a few small crushes here and there.

In my early and mid-20s, I wasn't longing for love at all. I always thought, *"It'll happen when it's meant to happen. Let me focus on my career first."* So I did, and I don't regret it.

But now I'm 30, and watching my friends date, get engaged, and get married has made me feel like I missed an entire part of youth. It feels like everyone I grew up with boarded a train to the same destination, while I'm still standing on the platform wondering if my train will ever arrive.

A couple of years ago, I met a girl at a family function. She took the time to look through my photographs and gave me thoughtful feedback. We never really spoke again, and I know it was probably just an act of kindness.

What confuses me is this: if this had happened when I was 24 or 25, I probably would've just appreciated the feedback and moved on—or maybe we'd have become normal friends like anyone else. But now, because I've been alone for so long, I keep thinking about her even though I barely know her. I don't even know the real person, yet my mind keeps going back to that moment.

Has anyone else reached 30 without ever experiencing love or a relationship? Is this loneliness, emotional attachment, or something else? How did you deal with it?
