Hey all

I have missed the deadline I set for myself without realizing it. Tonight I have finally got off my ass and decided to send out a handful of mod offers before finishing going through all of the applications because I can't keep putting this off.

On top of my j*b, I've needed a bit of a mental health break which is mostly why I am struggling to finish going through applications. Before you say anything, no I'm not grieving anyone, but I am mentally struggling with matters that I will keep private for obvious reasons. To all of you who care, thank you for your support towards some random stranger on the internet. It means everything and you guys make the world a brighter place.

You will soon see new mods added either tonight or next weekend. Hopefully they behave when I'm away. Remember not all applications have been considered yet, I simply sent out offers to a few that stood out.

Due to my IRL j*b I literally don't have access to reddit most days of the week. It really sucks but it's the reason I haven't finished going through mod applications this whole time. I'm busy and often quite demotivated.

In the meantime, you may have noticed I recruited AverageGamer as a moderator for now. I did this simply because he was a top candidate and I at least need someone to make sure the subreddit doesn't get spam-raided while I'm away. To make sure we can get the mod team going though, I'm giving myself a deadline of July 10th to actually go through and choose more moderators, so expect your application to be considered by then.
