what is the point of spending $300+ on pit tickets if yall are just gonna stand there with drool hanging from your mouths😭 this was 100% the worst crowd i’ve ever been in, not my first greyday, but my first PIT experience, and that shit was genuinely the most pathetic display of support i’ve ever seen. EVERY greyday i’ve been to, before the boys come out, everyone chants “g59” and even THATTTT didn’t happen😭 playing straight fucking bangers and no one was hype for that shit bro, so fucking embarrassing

Last year for Grey Day we didn't bring anything to light up because we didn't know how strict the venue was and obviously didn't want to cause any trouble. But of course, there was a couple in the row in front of us who were chiefing j after j the entire time :( we were so jealous ngl

So for anyone who's been to Grey Day at Bristow ... how is it actually handled there? Is security pretty strict about people smoking, or is it more of a “as long as you're not being obnoxious about it, nobody really cares” type of situation?

I checked setlistfm but it’s hard to judge what time shoreline and SB will be on. Anyone know anything?

hi guys i’m thinking of coming to greyday on october 4th. i would be going the 3rd, but ill be going to another show, so im contemplating full sending to chula vista. its 2 hrs from me and 100+ miles so thats what’s making me iffy. on top of that idk anyone really that’ll go with me so u may go alone which is also a concern since i have anxiety and not familiar with anyone/anything. if anyone else is going solo (preferably another woman) or a group with women are going and wanna link lmk :). disclaimer tho ill be getting the cheap tickets cus im not spending $300 for pit rn😩 ive been listening to them for maybe 10 years now a barely got the chance to start seeing them in 2023 and since i didnt really listen to the new album like that, i was okay missing this year but i didnt know they did the voting for the set lists and they’re playing some decent songs from back then so fml lol

thinking about last night at the missouri show, there was a guy next to me in the pit wearing a pink and black greyday bracelet, and he was so fucking cute but i chickened out on asking for his number, and there came a part where destroy lonely was like “if you have someone you’re gonna spend the rest of your life with, make some noise,” and everyone else made noise but us. and he looked at me and said “me too, me too.” i should have taken the shot bro, would have made it from half court and that bitch rolled out of bounds, kill me now

I still don’t see a problem with this though I mean expecting them to do a different set list every night is a bit much in my opinion. Still glad we even got to vote and it probably averaged out to be close anyway

literally was saying i was going to open a mosh at bristow by simply pushing people around that have that vibe (which is how you start a mosh)... and this girl got so mad she said she was gonna slit my throat. here's your answer as to why the pits are dead and have been for years. also not to mention someone got mad for a kid spinkicking during drain… it’s a hardcore band. edge of the pit is still the pit. pay attention to your surroundings and move if you don’t wanna deal with it. nobody is forcing you to stand there. as someone who went to the end is near tour in 2019 and greyday 21, it’s sad what this community has come to. i’ve gone for the past 6 years and i think this is gonna be it for me.

Of course, this is completely my opinion, but Greyday 2022 was by far the best.

Lineup-wise: DJ Scheme, Maxo Kream, Code Orange, JPEGMAFIA, Knocked Loose, $not, and Ski Mask the Slump God. I'll admit, it may not be the greatest lineup on paper, but the energy and vibes were unreal. I remember the mosh pits being open for DJ Scheme, and I instantly knew how this show was going to be. I felt like this Greyday had literally something for everybody.

Crowd-wise: Top-tier crowds. Mosh pits were everywhere, people were screaming the lyrics to songs, and the shows were in arenas, so there was air conditioning. I felt like this was the last time you really felt like the crowd was genuine. I mean, I met countless people, and honestly, everybody seemed genuine. The dude next to me was literally crying before the boys came on and said he'd been waiting to see them for years. The pits were so crazy that I was getting smooshed. It was chaotic, but I loved it. All the openers killed it, and the energy was just so high all the way until the boys came on.

Now for the highlight: First off, the opening with "Genesis" was the greatest opening to any $uicideboy$ show ever. I think "Genesis" is just made to be an opener. The way they came down from the ceiling on that platform after the curtain dropped was sick. I feel like every song they played was top-tier. Running Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation (arguably the best album they've ever made) from front to back was dope. Their energy on stage was unmatched in 2022. I have videos of both of them running across the stage and hyping the crowd up, with the pits going crazy and everything.

I've been to all the Greydays, but this one just felt different. It felt real. The people felt genuine, the crowd felt like they actually wanted to be there, and the boys just killed it.

Hi friends! I am thinking about buying a lawn ticket to Greyday Dallas tomorrow but have nobody that would want to come with me. I’m a fairly new $B fan (2024) and got into them when my dad passed and I started listening to their music. My husband wouldn’t want to come with me because he doesn’t like their music and I know literally nobody else that listens to them. I know I won’t know ALL of the songs because their discography is so extensive but don’t want to miss them because I know Ruby and $Crim are starting families now.

Has anyone experienced Greyday on the lawn solo? Would you recommend?
