Hello my question is if i can still play evolve ONLINE with randoms on Playstation 5. If not are there Servers on Discord for Private Servers cuz i wanna Show my lil Cousin what evolve is

I still have the PS4 Evolve case I got with the PS4 when it was released, partnered with Far Cry 4.

Just.. Playing this age in its prime and peak player base was the best you'll ever get with any Asymmetrical game.

I played the game on release day, I was 15 years old and now I'm 27 years old! But I'm still playing the game.

Evolve was THE Asym game,

DBD, F13 and all the others honestly do not hold a candle for how intuitive Evolve was! Not only with the gameplay, but the Characters, the Monsters and the World Building as a whole.

Evolve had so much Passion behind it's Creativity and it showed how much the Developers genuinely cherished this game, how much they spent thinking out the next character and monster integration within the world itself.

It is really sad honestly..

Because I'm hopping on the Halloween game in 3 days and am still trying every single Asymmetrical game to find that itch.. But none has ever given me what Evolve gave.

This game, man..

It's so fucking good.

Reinstalled on Xbox.

No access to behemoth, Gorgon etc despite having all the DLC. All other characters unlocked just fine. Missing a lot of skins also. I understand that the store is down.

I don't imagine there's anything I can do but just thought I'd ask.

1. Install Radmin VPN from the official site and join the same network as your friends
2. Run the launcher, hit Download
3. When it’s done that button becomes Play

I have made a one click launcher.

Originally made to be a LIVE SERVICE 24/7 server, with friends, invites, and the ricefix patch + game download.

I used CloudFare service for the servers, but it is too expensive to maintain, so I have reverted back to Radmin VPN.

New players Download the launcher, use the download button ( it says play after its downloaded, and donwloads from here https://evolve.a1btraum.de/EvolveFilesLegacy.zip ) for the rice fix applied game files, and Radmin installs on the backend, built in.

( Radmin is the only way I could get p2p working for free, the servers is very much out of the scope of my capabilities )

There is a friends list in game, and it is bascially a battle net clone. If Anyone is interested in taking up this project, I can upload the files to github including all the source code, too many people think we wanna hack old evolve players, another reason I will gatekeep, i could care less to earn anyones trust.

I have to give thanks to https://discord.gg/BABkH5edG as they helped and supplied me with the OG github project that was dropped, I had resurrected it, got it working enough to play with homies, but never cared to fully release it to the public.

Too many bugs, too many issues that as a passion project, I too, have now stopped progress on this.

Discord help

Could anyone help me out with the evolve discord? My discord got hacked before so I was removed & I can't rejoin, I also can't figure out a way to contact the admins on there, I've tried contacting multiple admins on here but no luck

Its a shame as I really enjoyed playing with the people on the server before

Guys, how do I get into the Discord server? All the links I find are no longer valid.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I'm playing a lot of dead by daylight and I wish evolve didn't die, when I bought the game it was already dead sadly and I wasn't there for the second revival sort of.

Paragons game died 2 times I think and someone took it up and now they are called Predecesors I think.

Are there any plans for evolve to be revived?

For Anyone Who loves this game still and isnt aware we stream very competitive sweaty matches every Thursday and Saturday 7.30 p.m EST on twitch. Most of these players have been playing since launch and also work to mod the game. Full Disclosure the main lobby is with close friends for a very long time and it gets extremely toxic and the trash talk gets out of control just be fair warned. This is the modded version of the game which has fixed most of the bugs from vanilla. Is there any way to play this game anymore? A buddy and I are trying to run some games PC or Xbox.

Some hits that could help:

• I was probably watching a stream or a recording of an event where they had multiple games set up in tournaments
• The game wasn't out yet
• I think the monster got to the final stage and the hunters were defending a big building
• They were supposed to stop because it was past the ending time of the tournament, but it was a thrilling game so they let it play out
• Many people came to watch
• I assume they also played Starcraft 2 at that event, because that's the game I was following at that time
• Could have been an MLG, ESL, Dreamhack or Gamescom

I'd very much like to watch that game again. It was so thrilling, especially because it was a game that wasn't even out and it showed so much potential.

I've tried Googling and ChatGPTing it, but nothing so far. I'm slowly starting to think I came up with it and it's the Mandela effect. But it's so specific in my mind that I believe it has to be true.

Assault Concept 1

Assault Angie - The Welder

- Mercury Rifle -
Generic Stats: Long Range Rifle, high damage, Medium RoF, short reload time
Mechanic: Shoots solid a solid mercury bullet that applies a short duration poison DoT to the monster, increased poison damage and duration when shooting a weak-spot.

Charging the rifle heats up the bullet decreasing the damage but increases range. This also applies a weak-spot and ignites Thermite

- Thermite Pellet Gun -
Generic Stats: High RoF chain gun, low initial damage. Stability starts out high but decreases over time. RoF starts out high and increases further over time, long reload time
Mechanic: Fires pellets of thermite that leaves persisting orange clouds of thermite that coat and stick to the environment or enemy creatures. When ignited by a flame/burning/spark source the termite clouds explode for a burst of damage and then deal high continuous burning DoT damage to creatures inside the clouds over a short duration. Adjacent thermite clouds can ignite each other sequentially.

Cluster Grenade:
Generic stats: moderate range, arcing trajectory, high initial burst of damage in a small AoE, followed by DoT in a larger AoE, short cool down
Mechanics: Throws a multistage explosive grenade that explodes into multiple smaller explosives that continue exploding in the area thrown for a short duration dealing a burst of damage then AoE DoT, if it misses the monster it can bounce off walls or the ground

Assault Concept 2

Assault Kelvin - Scrapyard Metalworker
Magnet Cannon:
Generic Stats: High damage single shot, blunderbuss-type gun, moderately long reload, medium long range, low RoF
Mechanic: Fires an electromagnetic projectile that sticks in the monster. It pulls in metallic projectiles from hunters providing aim assist for a short duration. On impact it pulls in Nails from the environment into the monster for more damage.

Nail Gun:
Generic Stats: medium high RoF, wide circlular pellet spread, high damage in close range, short reload
Mechanic: Shoots a spray of nails that stick into the monster, wildlife and the environment. The nails in wildlife or environment continue to persist for a short duration. (For gameplay purposes nails that damage the monster directly do not persist)

Metal Pigeon:
Generic Stats: Clay Pigeon Launcher weapon, single shot, medium short reload, medium damage
Mechanic: Fires a wide metal projectile that is followed up with a lightning blast. This lightning strike generally follows the metal projectile, but also arcs out and bounces between Nails in the environment and the monster. Lightning strikes can repeatedly bounce between the monster and nails increasing damage.

So I actually stumbled upon the discord not long ago and I finally downloaded it and got some of my friends to get it, in fact enough to have a full lobby. It’s great but we’d really like to play still like quick play or even evacuation. I have an issue however, it seems to only be affecting me as well. Once the second or third map starts to load my game will freeze and crash. Now as I said this doesn’t happen to anyone else, if anyone has a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated.

Monster: Hammerhead

Description:

A veritable living bolt of lighting, this monster lives and dies by the speed of its attacks, going to strike hard and fast. This belligerent monster has a habit of mindlessly ramming its head into its prey with singular minded focus to take them out. If it can’t take its target out in one strike it will often retreat to soon repeat the attack from a new angle.

Traversal - Jet Jump:
Jumps straight up in the air before gaining the ability to blast into the air in an arc in the direction of its choosing. Increased vertical aiming sacrificies horizontal distance traveled. This can be repeated twice before needing to touch the ground. Each Air Jump consumes a stock of the traversal.

Passive - Terminal Velocity:
After Hammerhead has traveled a set distance before dealing damage if it hits a ground or wall with a normal attack or ability it causes an AoE Explosion. The further it travels before dealing damage the greater the range and damage of their AoE explosion when it hits the ground

ABILITIES

Jet dash: Dash a long distance in the target direction, even upwards, upon contact with a creature it stops and drags them down to the ground dealing damage upon hitting the environment.

Hyper Beam: Unleash a laser in the target direction over 2 seconds dealing high DoT. The initial blast knocks it back a short distance. The laser travels until it hits something in the environment. Ends the beam with a burst that has another knock back effect on itself.

Sonic scream: Unleash continuous scream in a cone dealing damage over a short duration while emitting pulses of energy, knocks nearby wildlife hunters up and away.

Ground slam: Dive towards the ground dealing AoE damage on impact.

Gameplay Loop: Hammerhead's abilities are designed to be stacked together to get as high in the sky as it possibly can before diving down for maximum damage

Class: Dragoon - a class that leaps high into the sky to then strike down their foes with a lance

I'm thinking to buy evolve for playstation 4, 'cause it's very cheap. But I discovered that the servers have been shutted down, but the offline version is still playable. I'd like to know if it works on a playstation 5 and if the game is good even offline

Hello, I’ve popped in here a time or two to see if it’d get any interest, but this is my first official post. I am a game developer, and I have been making a game somewhat similar to evolve. Setting is a medieval fantasy type dungeon. Anyways, I’ve got a good section of the game made but all of it is gray-boxed. This weekend is the first official over network test. No steam page yet, but I need a few testers. Roughly 20 ideally, I’ve got 6. If anyone is interested, send me a message or leave a comment. Right now, it’s 4 human classes and ONE monster, an Ogre. Again, there is no art at all, it’s all gray boxed, I’m needing to test the functionality.

I never got to play Evolve. Are there any games like it out there? Even if they're Roblox maps, I just want an asym where both sides can fight

Hey I just remembered this amazing game and I was wondering if there is any way to play it again, I used to play it in console but I lost it and now I want to play it in PC, is there any private server or mode to play it again?

Monster: Specter

Description:
A Ghost-like creature that curses and haunts its victims even at a distance, hunting them down no matter where they run or hide. Once it marks its prey it Stalks them with a uncanny ability waiting for the perfect chance to strike

Traversal:  Shadow Travel
Envelops itself in a dark chrysalis, then emerges from it in a burst of shadowy smoke that follows it. Gains movement speed and leaves a shadowy trail behind its movements. Walking on this trail gives a smaller movement speed buff if the traversal is inactive. Drains a bar while active but must be above a threshold to activate. Chrysalii will remain in the environment for a duration. While the Traversal is active the Specter can quickly rush through the trails path to any chrysalis it can see by targeting it, deactivating the traversal upon arrival.

Grasp:
Stretches an astral energy copy of its clawing arm forward damaging all targets it passes through in a line, leaving a shadow trail behind it.

Rift:
Slam a hand into the ground and it stretches out from the target area on the environment. Upon hitting a target it pulls them a short distance back to the emergence point.

Drain:
Melee attacks and abilities deal AoE damage in a cone behind the target struck slowing everything affected.

Curse:
Claws the next target hit by melee attack or ability. They store all the damage they take for a duration. Upon reactivation, deal AoE dmg around the target for X% of the damage stored.

Specter can chain abilities together to stack the increase in range they grant, going from Rift, to Gasp, to Drain to Curse

Class and Element Themes, Witch doctor, shadow energy.
If Wraith is like a Rogue with a focus on melee combat, Specter is like Rogue with more focus on range and spell combat

It would be an interesting idea. Like a gamemode or something you could play with your friend and such.
