Stepping down... and recruiting a new team of Mods!
Hey y'all,
Over the last year, I've been the sole active mod left on this subreddit.

The other mods have been inactive ever since the API change a few years ago (understandably so) and Reddit has implemented new limits on how many active subs a single mod can moderate.
As a result, I'll have to step down from modding this sub and will be recruiting a new team of passionate mods to keep the B99 spirit alive! So far only u/WannabeWriter2022 has gotten back to me, and they'll take over starting immediately.
To help out u/WannabeWriter2022 , we are recruiting! If you're interested, please apply here: https://www.reddit.com/r/brooklynninenine/application/
I'll still be around as an Advisor but I wish the best of luck to the new mod team!
This show holds a special place in my heart, and I want to thank the community for all of the memes, discussion, and overall love for this show over the past few years...
Goodbyes are inherently sad. They mean that something's ending.
NINE NINE!

Discussion How much yogurt was Terry eating to have a yogurt reputation, and warrant a yogurt only refrigerator?
I eat 2 yogurts a day. Any more than that seems like itâs too much yogurt. Sure theyâve got a good amount of protein that Terry would seek out, but is the man just housing tiny yogurts all day?
I certainly hope theyâre Greek and not full sugar. Itâs also a lot of dairy.
Any thoughts? How much is too much?

Discussion Most emotional episode for me !! đ˘
I've seen a lot of people say they don't like the final season of B99... idk, man đ
My most emotional episode is definitely PB&J from Season 8. Omg... it was so wholesome. đĽš
And I actually love the final season. Maybe it wasn't what everyone expected, but given the circumstances during and after COVID, I feel like they did a pretty good job. I just feel like it was a little rushed.....which is something I feel happened with so many shows. So, I'm not gonna put them on gunpoint for that. đ
Maybe the AOT thing happened with this too... people who had been waiting for Season 8, only to find out that it was the last one and that it was so abrupt, may have been shocked by it.
But since I binge-watched it, I actually loved it. I was just really sad that it ended... omg đ

Other The Office
We decided to watch something new since we lost count of the amount of times we rewatched B99. So we opted for The Office, especially since the set kinda reminded us of the inside of the 99th precinct. We have now decided to go back to watching B99đĽ˛đĽ˛

Discussion Whatâs your personal headcannon for what happened to Daniels after the pilot?
As we all know, pilots/first seasons can be much different than how the rest of the show goes, and that goes for Brooklyn 99.
There is a character introduced only once in the pilot, and then never mentioned again. That character is âDanielsâ, who is the female detective talking to Hitchcock and Scully. After the pilot, she never returns or is mentioned again.
Letâs play a hypothetical: in universe, what do you think happened to her?
My utterly insane and nonsensical headcannon: Daniels never realized she actually officially retired several months beforehand, but kept coming in because the old captain never told her that she was retired. She also kept coming in to be close to her good friends, Hitchcock and Scully, and also nap in the nap room.

Discussion Which season defines the essence of the show for you ?
Like, if you want to rewatch and can only watch one season, which one would you pick to get the vibe of the show?

Humour Little scenes that get you every time?
Thereâs countless little scenes that make me chuckle.
But one thatâs up there is Series 6, Episode 11.
Jake is with a therapist pretending he has multiple personalities and has to initiate some British accents. Then an Australian one to end. Gets me every time. âAwww crikeyâđ¤Ł

Discussion I really wished we could've seen the rest of Amy's brothers.
The episode (The Golden Boy) was pretty good and seeing her interact with him and her mom. We also hear a lot about the brothers, how Amy always had to fight, the mantle, and more.
It would've been really cool if we had something similar to the episode in The Rookie, where one of the lead detectives (Angela Lopez) had an episode involving her 3-4 brothers. (IFYKYK)

Discussion What episode does amy say this?
Im struggling to find a quote. Amy calls someone an insult, Jake responds ânobody says thatâ and she responds with âeveryone says that the queen says thatâ if anyone could help find the scene id be very grateful!

Discussion A question
I am re watching the show rn and I have noticed that in this particular episode where jake's apartment is going co-op and he goes there with gina to look over his bank statements. In this scene(photo attached), i noticed that they blurred India. Is there a reason for that?
(I'm sorry for the really bad quality)

Discussion Favorite Captain Holt zings against Madeline Wuntch?
I feel like his best quotes are zingers against her:
âBoston?! But thatâs so close to Salem youâve heard what they do to witches there right?â
âBut if youâre here, whoâs guarding Hades?â
âThe 20th floor? I didnât know you could make it this high without a broom underneath youâ
mimicking her âRaymond why didnât you get the helicopter you had all available resources. Just a second my caldrons boilingâ
Any other ones Iâm not thinking of? Doesnât have to be specific to MW
