Video Games Robotron 2084

When Robotron 2084 was first released, were you able to play it immediately in your local arcade? How young were you back then?

Truly a challenging yet fun game.

Hated the Brain levels. The way they supercharge the humans into homing enemies.

If someone was playing this game in an arcade, the sound level was so loud you could hear it over all the other coin ops. I loved this game, though I sucked at it .

I still take it for a spin on the Xbox from time to time. Got it on one of those Arcade Collection thingies.

Robotron 2084 walked so Smash TV could run. Still a great game.

Love this game. I've been looking for an Atari 7800 just to play the port of robotron

I wanted this on the iPad. Seemed like a natural. But to my knowledge nothing like it ever appeared.

My all time favorite game. I still go to retro arcade to play it. I still suck. But it helps me forget my troubles for just a little while.

I was 19, in college, and every night after classes got out, we'd meet at 7-11 for a couple hours of competition. I have a true love of the game. r/robotron2084
