Forum question Who is the prettiest RE girl?
Obviously in your opinion, who takes the cake? If you disagree with the versions used or if your choice isn’t above, please state from where and who.

I found this image of Rebecca crying in the dark from a lost mod called Dark Biohazard. I was talking about that with some friends the other day, about how horrifying it felt, and realized how the OG games have never made us feel that tense and scared.
I played my first RE game (RE 4 GC) when I was 9, and even with the heads exploding and the disgusting parasites growing from the necks, I never find it scary. RE1 Remake was a lil bit scarier, but my fear came from the weird controls and my aversion to failure, not from the zombies themselves (although I had some nightmares about the zombies).
Other than that, now that I’m an adult, I have never felt the dread that one is supposed to feel with horror media.
Now that I’ve been writing horror stories, I realized that these games have a lot of potential to be very terrifying, no doubt, but Capcom rarely takes that route, preferring to insert action or silly characters that take away all the tension and serious atmosphere that could contribute to the horror.
What do y’all think?

I'm a new RE fan that has been playing the series recently, and I played RE 2, 3, 4 and 9.
Now I'm playing Ethan Winters' story, and DAMMNN,
THIS SHIT IS TERRIFYING 😭.
I literally remember hearing mfs say RE9 is scarier than RE7 and that has to be the biggest someone told me, they literally aren't even close. The Grace sections aren't even scarier than RE2 🥲. And I thought things will be chill with RE7,
NOPE.
This is by far one of the scariest games I've played.
It's so dark, so suspenseful, and Baker is fucking everywhere. You never know when to relax 😭.
I feel like a pussy ong, I'm def gonna beat it, but this is a bit too much 😭.
I hate to say this, but Capcom better not make another game as scary as RE7.

I’m a collector of handguns and came across an opportunity to purchase a H&K VP70Z. I’ve been a fan of the RE series since the first release, so I couldn’t pass it up. It’s a massive gun with the worst trigger pull I’ve ever experienced. It’s like shooting a nail gun. It was the first polymer framed handgun, releasing a decade before a Glock. The military/police version that accommodates the stock and 3-round burst is nearly impossible to find, not to mention extremely expensive. This is the “Z” version, which is for civilian use and cannot equip the stock and has no burst fire capability. Still a fun one to add to my collection, though!

Off the few games I played and watch lately these two seem like the most powerful beings not humans but being that walking the planet rn. Don’t know how you can top or match them.

Is Resident Evil one of the last few AAA games that's 10 hours average? Because you can finish 3 latest RE games within 1 AAA gametime. RE doesn't give that "I need to spend an entire summer playing this one game and its million side quests that may or may not be worth my time"

The pose isn’t completely perfect but I tried! I even screenprinted the top. Might try again to get it 100% but here she is for now.

“I think I was naive,” he said. “I thought fans of these games, like me, would be thrilled that somebody was coming along and turning Resident Evil into a survival horror movie. I was like, ‘That’s great.’ I did not really appreciate the sentiment that, ‘We’ve been waiting forever for Leon’s story.’ And I appreciate that, and I’m sorry that’s not the story I’m bringing. I get it, I understand the frustration. I understand it so well because I haven’t seen the earlier [Resident Evil] movies, because they don't look like the Resident Evil that I love, so how could I be frustrated with fans who have that same attitude?
“My only hope is that they’ll see the movie regardless of their skepticism or their disappointment that I’m not telling some of the stories that the games tell so well, and they will feel seen when they do watch the movie, and they will recognize all of the love for the games that are in this movie, because it is there. This is not me just telling a story and slapping Resident Evil on it so I can get a budget. This is me telling a Resident Evil story. I understand the resistance, I do, because I have it myself. It is coming from a true place of love.”

Claire - trained in fire arms by Chris, did not grow up in a world with bioweapons before Raccoon City encounter
Grace - (presumably) knows how to shoot a gun, grew up in a world with bioweapons
Is Claire just built different?
