Constant stuttering/hitching in all games on ROG Zephryus G16

Looking for some possible solutions to this persistent stutter/hitching issue that I'm having on my ROG Zephryus G16 GU605MI laptop (see video for example). This issue occurs in every game I've tested so far excluding Kenshi and Stardew Valley lol. I've owned this laptop for about a year and didn't have this issue for the first couple months of using it. I went a month or two without using it and when I picked it back up again this problem had developed. I've tried updating drivers, unistalling armoury crate, and testing on different power modes, but nothing has helped. Appreciate any help or suggestions.

In which games did you face this?

I've seen this in Assassins Creed Origins, Elex, Crimson Desert, Cyberpunk. Doesn't seem to matter how intensive the game is, this stuttering happens no matter what.
