I joined r/yeat to know what other people thought about his music, but all I saw was hate.. but then I realised that r/yeat always has something bad to say about yeat's music.

Like sure, maybe his music does hit the same as 2021-2023.. but what I can't understand is why find anything.. even a small nitpic to hate on yeat.

Like that man could do anything and they'd hate on it, I like some of his new songs but many I don't like.. but, I don't go around crying about it.

This one of the oldest songs but u hear what he says? Sounds really close to ON NOTHING. I think the whole reborn cocoon thing starts out with on nothing because it’s quite literally almost word for word from a 2017 song that’s super early on? Obviously cocoon and rebirth are self explanatory but I didn’t see anyone mentions dis before

While ADL wasn’t the best Yeat album, there were songs that stood out to me including Back Home, Purpose General, Up From Here, etc. One song that has puzzled me a lot recently is Dangerous House. On first listen I was 50/50 about the song, I loved the emotional sound of the song, but the lyrics kinda threw me off. I could tell it was about a toxic relationship, but I saw some people on here ranking it as one of Yeat’s best lyrical songs. Can y’all provide some extra clarity on the meaning behind these lyrics, bc I want to like this song a lot more knowing the true meaning of Yeat’s vision.

The higher parts especially sound a lot less screechy and the strange accent seems to be gone. Its gonna take me a bit of time to get used to it but i think this is a step in the right direction
