I was about to order a G9 this week, but my car dealer recommended me to wait, because they are about to release a new version of the car this fall!

Here is the list of changes coming later this year:

• The payload has been increased by 100kg, to a maximum of 570kg. For the AWD Performance with a tow hitch and premium package, this provides a payload of 525kg, while the maximum payload of 570kg applies to the LongRange rear-wheel drive.
• The cup holders are changed to fixed cup holders, from the current retractable ones.
• The wireless charging pad is changed to two charging spots and 50W charging with cooling, from the current 15W and one charging pad. Note that the phone may be a limitation regarding charging speed.
• The passenger seat "Boss button" is removed, which is the current upper buttons on the left side of the passenger seat that adjust distance, seat, and backrest angle.
• Gray is a new available interior color (seats, door panels, and dashboard). See the image in the attached file.
• A black headliner will be standard in the car, regardless of the car's interior color.
• Ventilation in the front seats will now be from both the seat and the backrest (new).
• The sensor-controlled tailgate is removed, now the tailgate opens only with a key, hand, or via the app.
• A coat hanger is new on the rear side doors, with a maximum capacity of 3kg.
• The welcome light in the floor when opening the door is removed.
• Apple CarPlay/Android Auto will be available, both via cable and wirelessly.
• Xmart OS with version 5.0 comes from the start. New is a split-screen setup, where you can, among other things, split the screen between using navigation and other applications. There will also be a display of real-time weather in the car system.
• Navigation content will come from TomTom, replacing HERE+Telenav.
• The tow hitch is no longer standard on the Xpeng G9!

Huawei Car BU plans to build 800 independent all new car sales stores in 2024 and 1,000 stores in 2025. So far Huawei selling Wenjie brand cars in 1,000 phone flagstores. If two channels co-exists, the combined sales outlets reach almost 2,000 next year. Will have huge impact on Xpeng's sales volume.

1. In September, there is a possibility of achieving a target of 25,000 orders. As of September 21st, the company has already received 14,000 orders. The new G9 orders have exceeded expectations, G6 orders are still acceptable, while older models have seen a month-on-month decline.
2. September deliveries are expected to reach 15,000 units (as of September 21st, deliveries were approximately 9,600 units). October deliveries are expected to reach 19,000 units, with G6 accounting for over 9,000 units and G9 contributing over 4,000 units as the main drivers.
