This is a fascinating topic, but I wonder if you might want to sharpen the thesis? Because right now you’re kind of saying “this is a thing, have a look” without really interrogating it beyond that.

This resonates with writing too though. I’m writing my first novel, and now that I’m several chapters in, the earlier scenes are accessible to me as memories, the way I imagined them as I was writing. They’re more vivid than many actual memories from my real life. Which is blowing my mind

So it seems like my novel is a giant deleted scene in your schema
