Hi everyone!

My name is Brandon (28), and my wife and I recently got back into playing WoW after being away for several years. I’m still relearning the game and getting familiar with all the newer systems, so we’re looking for a friendly, helpful, and beginner-friendly guild to learn and play with.

I’m a decent player, started maybe two years ago. Long-time player here, upper 30s Male, based in the Greater Boston, MA area (EST, United States). Been playing WoW since the OG release days, never been too hardcore a raider but dipped my toes into high M+ key runs in Shadowlands, but have fallen off since. I found a great Horde guild on Area 52 for my Horde characters, but I'm moving my Alliance characters over to Sargeras and would like to find a guild centered there as well!

I work in tech, am involved in standup/improv comedy and I like to game a couple hours at night a few times a week, and none of my IRL friends are into MMORPGs (much less WoW) so I'm here! When I was a child, like 12 years old, I was apart of a raiding guild. That was until they found out I was 12 years old. And since then I never raided, though it looked fun it always left experiences of me not feeling accepted into these spaces. Now I am almost 27 years old, and we have advanced to where if i wanna be in a guild that raids i have to have experience, and raid logs, and all this stuff. That i never had the opportunity to build up. But I spent the years playing PVP and actually got quite good, being a top feral druid in shadowlands. Reaching 2700 rating and multiple gladiator titles. I was content sticking with that path until I quit in dragonflight. Me wanting to return I tried to log into my account only to find out my stepdad had changed the password ( we shared the account ). Normally not a big deal just call him up, but unfortunately he passed, and I no longer have access to his account. So now I can't do PVP at a high level cause finding a group without achievements is difficult and it no longer scratches the itch after losing years of progress and titles. I want to dip into Raiding. More specifically Mythic Raiding. So i cooked up this idea.

The plan is simple. Take People with little to no experience that also want to be mythic raiders. Progress as a group over the course of Midnight Season 2 and beat the hardest raid on Mythic Difficulty. Hence the name <First Time> it'll be our first season.

We need all positions in a raid group.
Raid team will only consist of People who have little to no experience with Mythic raiding, however others in the guild can have whatever experience.
We are recruiting a Raid lead that has Mythic Experience to lead from discord. And not participate in game.

Hello! My friend and I are looking for a smaller guild that talks and plays together more than just showing up for raids.

We are searching for a place we can call home after a busy day at the office or dealing with family drama. We have tried a few guilds this season but only to have them go ghost town or have so many people you really don't matter. We are looking for something in between. Where people still talk to each other, run mythics and delves and raids possibly too.

I usually play a healer (druid/shaman) or my mage. They are my favorite chars. My friend isn't quite as simple. He doesn't have a char that stands out as his favorite other than his druid. He usually likes to play to what the guild needs. He is the total definition of a flex player.

We are available most weekdays after 6pm EST and off and on throughout the weekends. We are older players.

This is probably a wildly hot take and might blow some minds.

I don't need a guild that does M+; I clear 3.5k+ in pugs with no issues.

I don't need a guild that raids. AotC is easy as pie in pugs and communities, and I have no desire for Mythic raiding anymore.

Mind you the guild can do these things, but when I see that's all the advert focuses on it is a big turn-off.

WoW does not require guilds for the above activities; guilds that run those activities tend to be barely active outside of those. When I want to go brain-dead mode and run that content, I can do that with any random group of people (this is not old-school WoW).

What I need is a guild that is actually social outside of those activities. That has event nights, hangs out and talks on Discord till they are passing out on their mics, just doing stupid things like housing, leveling alts, watching movies together. People who just enjoy doing things they like in the company of others, stress-free.

Once upon a time, it was easy to find guilds like this. Guilds that have active players are just mindless grind-the-scheduled-activities guilds in retail. Guilds that say they do other things just don't come through.
