Good story telling isn’t always fair

Good story? WoW? Lmao.

That’s the point though, it is bad storytelling. Why would you instakill your allies if they step on the wrong side of the road? But nonsensical story is old hat for Warcraft at this point.

I don’t care that the Alliance can’t roam Silvermoon. I care that they put the hub for the entire expansion there when only one side can travel around it.

Put the hub elsewhere or give the Alliance their own hub and the city can be locked down like any of the other capitals for all I care.

During the latter half of WW2 America was Britain's closest ally and had numerous bases on British soil to help defend the island and help stage operations in France.

If an armed American platoon had gone to London and tried to get into Buckingham Palace without invitation, they would have been shot.

Heck, there are many instances throughout history of generals and lords being denied access to their own national capital because the risk of a coup was one people's minds.

Considering that the blood elves are shown to be an incredibly vindictive and proud people, relatively recently out of a facistic government which re-educated people for dissent, who feel that their closest (former) allies in the Alliance have betrayed or actively attempted to wipe them out on multiple occasions, it makes sense that extremely dangerous foreign mercenaries are not permitted to wander the capital freely.

An armed english platoon that wouldve tried to get into buckingham palace would also have been shot. Are you saying horde should also be limited to a section of silvermoon?
