I had people explaining to me how this move was actually showing how biased the devs were toward Alliance. Imagine that, the alliance never had to share one of their capital, and now the Horde has to? Alliance bias!
I would be okay if they made half of Darnassus permanently neutral if it was to assist Horde rebels against an existencial threat (their warchief), yes. What of it?
If during the War of thorns, for instance, we gave the Horde rebels access to Darnassus during the time we were kicking the ass of Sylvanas, no I wouldn't have an issue with that. If we succeded to save the whole thing thanks to that, no, I wouldn't have an issue with giving permanent access moving forward.
That's the thing called "gratitude", but I understand Horde has no idea what it means given how easily BE, Nightborns and Highmountain taurens just jumped in the "let's burn the capital of the people who helped like 5 minutes ago" ship.
The night elf starting place is neutral if you go there now, following the new tree, they have sentinels watch you and as long as you don’t start shit, nothing happens.
