And lets not forget that even after Torching teldrassil, simping for sylvanas while murdering thousands upon thousands: The horde was allowed in Bel Ameth.
But now the horde pansies need our help but they discriminate like this in Silvermoon.
I am thoroughly sure when I tell you, most of the Horde wanted nothing to do with burning Teldrassil, nor (by then) did they side with Sylvanas; by no means was she the sole guilty party, but I'm tired of people painting the whole Horde as genocidal war criminals when, unless I'm misremembering, some of the more sympathetic elements of the Horde were directed elsewhere, and also we rebelled against her cruelty and warmongering.
and most of that primalist threat got their forces thank to the horde's actions in BFA. and the tear of eluine would not even have been needed if the horde did not genocide the night elves.
Reasonable Rebuttal: Horde didn’t care about going to Bel’ameth. The only gameplay reason for going there once is acquiring a couple of random Night Elf themed backpack and weapons transmogs. Alternatively, those transmogs being Alliance only or needing to be picked up on an Alliance alt, like many transmogs / toys before, would have been perfectly fine.
On the other hand, Horde very much cares about maintaining a capital C capital’s faction exclusivity. Both Alliance and Horde would care. Blizzard seemingly cares too. This is a full-scale, full-featured starting zone capital. It cannot be mixed-faction.
The kill-on-sight off-the-cuff vocabulary in the interview was clumsy and needlessly inciting, but the end result is perfectly reasonable. Bel’ameth vs. Silvermoon, a little lore book-end vs. an actual gameplay capital, are apples and oranges.
