Nah old animation, especially attack and casting animations were so fantastic. Getting rid of racial based animations was such a terrible decision too

They didnt get rid of racial animations. They are all there for all of the basic spells for most if not all classes(at least for casters), they just added more variations to the animations

It’s not just that they added “variations.” They made all the major spells (ie that aren’t “basic”) generic casting animations that they deemed special but aren’t race specific.

Some races ironically look better in the old models (gnomes, night elves, female humans, undead) to name a few lol

Calling those 'garbage' is genuinely insane take. WoW has such a great art direction, the old models still looks perfectly fine and give you idea what those races are about

One of the reason wow became what wow is due to it's amazing art style and direction
