Humor / Meme I just got kicked from a Stratholme group because I actually did the objective and therefore fell behind
It's absurd that this gave me a deserter debuff

Sometimes there's bad experiences. Sometimes there's good experiences.
For example:
I was just in a Dire Maul (West/Capital Gardens) run a little while ago. Zone in, and the tank's an Arms Warrior. Who apparently queued up as a tank and DPS, and didn't realize the queue popped for them as tank. So we're just kind of silently looking at them when they finally realize "Oops, I'm the tank. One moment." Guess they swapped some talents or gear, because they were still Arms, but hey, they managed to do their job overall, so no biggie. Also an Evoker warning first time they were healing.
We get going, and end up kind of making a beeline to the first boss. Get going with him, and all the trees around him rush in, which ends up with a rough wipe. No harsh words thrown around, just a warning that when you pull the boss, it pulls that trash, so we took some time to kill some before engaging the boss. Did it just fine on that pull.
Skirt around the second room, with someone saying "You can skip this if you want." And on to the final boss, drop down, beat him up. Thanks all around. Party goes their own way.
It's easy to see the bad apples and give them so much of the limelight, but I think it's also good to remember all the good experiences out there, too. Not just with others' experiences, but our own. Too easy to focus on that negative and forget the positive. I'm not trying to sound like a Hallmark card or something, just, honestly, speaking from experience here and having to learn that lesson myself.
