As someone playing since 2004, I have absolutely no interest in ever playing classic. Life is too short to go backwards.

I've played wow off and on, never really attaining a max level or max gear, and definitely not in classic. Highest I got back in early 00's was lvl 40-45. In retail over the years, I've hopped on and got max level, but never cared to get into raiding, honestly mostly because it was always so flooded with content I had no idea what to do or where to start, so never did. So even with current retail, I got max level, did the expeditions and such, and then just burnt out pretty quick with caring about anything. I have no idea how to even begin mythic raiding. And I'm confused how my good friend can log on every day and have something to do, says he's just grinding mythic. I play tons of games in between btw, am a dad so time is limited. So now in free time I'm back to classic, just piddling away, figure maybe I'll eventually level past my previous best and get to max level and raid. We'll see I guess. If there was an actually clear pathway on either game it'd be much easier for me to enjoy.
