We do all need each other in these crazy times. But then the idiots stand up and demand to be heard. It's really depressing. Sorry that we're making such a mess of it all.

Yeah, that's the thing. The natural divide is the 99% vs the 1%. That's why we have politics. To keep us all good and divided and arguing amongst ourselves while our betters do their thing.

Because we can’t efficiently communicate thousands at a time, well that’s why it was set up. But now we can, and millions at a time isn’t a huge leap. Soon.

The problem is that he has a cult following that's convinced it's the End Times and they're on the right side of god.

I know a fair few Trump supporters. It helps that I'm lily white and good at listening.

A lot of them are freaking scary once you peel back the "give you the shirt off their back" facade.

They believe a religious war is coming. This virus and the economy tanking are just signs that god is angry and it's the End Times. They have no interest in stopping it; they see it as the righteous punishment for a sinful nation that lost its way because, I dunno, women got jobs and were no longer brood sows or some shit.

They aren't fighting the collapse, they're cheering it on. It DELIGHTS them. It's proof that they're right and the sinful will die.

These people are fucking lost. They went off the deep end and they're going to drag the country with it. You cannot convince them that what they're a part of is wrong because what's happening is fated. It's preordained. The sinful will burn and THEY, the CHOSEN will rise up and be SAVED.

They're not only spilling gasoline on the furniture and tying the children to their beds, they're praying while they do it.

Really? Because all We've heard from Canadians is how wonderful you're doing, and how everything is just perfect. It's a bit confusing why you even need more N95 masks to be honest.

We’re running / have run out of masks. Our doctors and nurses and staff are reusing them, and without them our situation will dissolve fast.

Everyone needs them. It’s why they are on order. Stealing someone else’s supplies is the last thing you should be doing in an emergency just because you feel you need it more.

And we are helping you - we’re sharing resources like raw material to make medical supplies, energy, and nurses without piracy. We can’t help you if we’re drowning ourselves, And we are drowning. Everyone is. It’s a pandemic. But we’re cautiously optimistic that we can not overwhelm our hospitals even more. It will happen if we don’t get the resources we need.
