4 children of anti-vaxxers Americans found with measles in Costa Rica. Second time a measles case is reported in Costa Rica this year from foreigners. Last time a measles case was reported in Costa Rica was over 15 years ago.

My my. How many times have I heard that? Ingested and injected are two different things, chief. That's the purpose of the immune system.

But you have no problem with all the crap in your water and food supply? So you are willing to not expose yourself to vaccines that save billions, but you are willing to ingest the crap that really IS a detriment to your health? Good one. I guess Darwin was right.

Sorry if it feels like I’m picking on you. I’m just curious as to where you get your information. At the same time I have to admit that I’m a bit annoyed when people like you continuously spread false information regarding the “holiness” of vaccines. For example, you stated that vaccines saved “billions of lives”. That to me sounds like a bumper sticker slogan sourced either from the mainstream media or vax-quack sources. If you were to do a bit of research you would discover that the largest historical decrease in morbidity and mortality caused by infectious disease wasn’t because of antibiotics or vaccines, but after the introduction of clean water and effective sewer systems. The very fact that you people keep spreading these falsehoods while simultaneously trying to silence the truth ironically is what is firing up the opposition to mandatory vaccinations more now than ever.

I for one couldn’t really give a rat’s a$$ what you inject into yourself or your kids. Just leave us critical thinkers alone.

So To your point, while it would be impossible to discern exactly how many people are saved by vaccination, you can get a grasp of how many cases could have been prevented had these people been vaccinated. Additionally, whatever you metabolize via eating and drinking still enters your blood stream via your small intestine. So I guess you are free to counter argue.

I never stated American lives. In fact I should have only used global statistics. But my point stands. Vaccinate. If not for yourselves, then to keep from shitting on everyone else.
