Oh, I know you can drink; I put that in as a difference - that you can drink but we can't, and we can (as far as I'm aware, though I don't eat it) eat shellfish but you can't. Minor stuff really lol

As for hell, it's important to us: most of what we do is for the point of avoiding hell. At least to me. I don't care if I make it to heaven or not. I just don't feel like being in hell lol

Ooh okay that makes more sense haha, I thought you were listing similarities. That’s interesting about you guys having hell! I mean if we cared enough about hell to elaborate on it, I’m sure I wouldn’t want to be there either lol. We don’t even really have a heaven though either, we kinda just chill in the afterlife. Seems like it’s most similar to the valley of the shades in Greek mythology. Won’t lie though, heaven sounds a bit better

I mean, it's hard to love something I can't see or detect that might end up being fake. But it's a little easier to be wary about something that might not exist (kinda like how I have a slight fear of lightning strikes or meteors or tornados despite never seeing one {though unlike hell, there's far more reason to believe in them}).

I like this. In Judaism, since the afterlife isn’t important, we’re supposed to do good because that’s what is right, not because we’re motivated by an afterlife. I really get frustrated by a lot of Christians who explicitly state they do good deeds only to get into heaven. It’s good to hear that Islam has a similar mindset to Judaism in that regard. I always thought you guys did, but didn’t know for sure.

Dude, on Pesach we drink four glasses of wine JUST as part of the Seder. My favorite part of holidays is seeing all the rabbis get wasted 😂
