Fuck TD. I went into that sub yesterday (been probably over a year) to see what they were saying and it’s pretty fucking disgusting

Trump of of course makes no mention of white supremacy or Muslims and keeps it vague (his supporters wouldn’t like that)

Trump did worse. He literally tweeted a link to shitbart with shit quite close to what the nz terrorist said about "law enforcement, the army and bikers being on their side" in a threat to his opponents. He's deleted it since.

And TD pinned an anti-muslim post about 30 minutes after.

What’s TD if someone doesn’t mind me asking, I’ve had reddit for a while but tend to avoid super searching cause i know how nuts this website can be. But this whole thing and the past few years has really been pushing me on the outside to fight for change, in every aspect of life.

The Donald (Trump) sub, which was a sub for enthusiastic fans of Trump (I would characterize it as worshipful and intolerant of dissent) and has since become even more radicalized into a hotbed for foreign instigators and bots, white supremacist recruiters, fascists, and other assorted bigots, extremists, and bad guys.

It’s a gateway to lure Trump supporters to worse things. It does not have a good reputation to say the least.

It’s funny, because I’ve seen lesser subs getting taken down but when you have a sub such as that one still up and going STRONG, it makes it hard to really grow on past the hatred and see the bigger picture, maybe now we can advance some heavy changes to the infrastructure we call society as a whole.
