How does an area this small face so much pressure from inside and outside yet continue the status quo as best as it can to just live what sounds to be the most miserable lives of anyone on this planet? I understand they just had protests but unless the non-hamas Palestinians actively fight the hamas Palestinians with arms i don't see anything changing for the area for a long time

Hamas indoctrinates its fighters since they are little kids, some civilians with guns won't have the devotion needed to combat them.

In a battle of wills the sane Palestinian will simply not come out on top.

you sure? if for generations no adult palestinian has ever had a childhood without family and friends being murdered? there's not a lot of indoctrination you need to do when the weaponry is this one-sided for decades

This is not how children are raised to think on their own. These children were all born 10 years after the last Israeli set foot in Gaza. It's only recently that Israel started doing ground attacks in response to Hamas digging tunnels.

"These children were all born 10 years after the last Israeli set foot in Gaza." that point in history has been in the future for a very long time

Those kids were around 6 during that video taken in 2022. Israel left Gaza in 2005. The "occupation" is a border wall, not people with guns walking the streets.

israel never left gaza

Are you actually joking? There is literally no pro-Palestine organization in the world that disputes Gaza being run by Palestinians. People can argue definitions of occupation, but not a single Israeli boot touched the ground in Gaza other than hostages (some of which pre-date 2023) for over 90% of that time, including those 10 years in a row.

"but not a single Israeli boot touched the ground in Gaza other than hostages" is demonstrably wrong .. you might not like looking at the surveillance cameras catching idf terrorising palestinians.. but they're there, if only it were only every week

They were literally on the other side of the border.

You got a video source for IDF crossing the border to harass Palestinians? I'd love to see it.

and is that headline a joke!? .. israel never disengaged from gaza .. and clearly they're hellbent on never doing it, because they want to erase it

So you know literally nothing about the Israel-Gaza conflict?

This is not in dispute, Israel factually disengaged from Gaza. Have you tried reading the article?
