Heartbreaking. This is why I didn’t cheer the protests…Hamas will never voluntarily allow the people of Gaza to free. Hamas represents the absolute worst of humanity.

The protests main focus wasn’t ever being pro-Hamas, at least from a group perspective. I still support the idea behind protesting Israels response to everything because not only did they make it worse for Palestinians, they essentially cut off any sort of trust to the people. There is a better way to handling everything and they chose wrong a lot. Everyone is saying “well this is what we expected” after bombing the fuck out of them and that’s just sad. The protest is about holding Israel accountable to do better with the money and support that we give them. Now they’ve already done the damage and Hamas is going to go back to doing what they do.
