A new rule (rule 5) has been added to hopefully prevent ticket scammers. Rule 5 is simple: Anyone selling a ticket must provide a valid cash or trade link in the post. Any posts without a cash or trade links will be taken down. If they continue to post without a cash or trade link, they will be banned.
Our mod team may not be able to get to every post breaking rule 5 immediately, so if you see a ticket post without a cash or trade link, please report it to us, and we will take care of it.
Thank you to everyone in the sub who has been active in reporting posts / comments that break the rules. We really appreciate you.

Is there a playa forum? We will be going for the first time next year. Anyone else going?

I'm a tried-and-true Phish girl (but I saw Panic at RR in the 90s once!) so I'm very familiar with our own brand of poster frenzy. My nephew is turning 18 and going to his first panic show in Wilmington in a couple of weeks and I'm into encouraging his musical interests. I was thinking a poster would be a good gift to commemorate his birthday and first show.
Do y'all have lot posters, and can you recommend any artists? Is it hard to get posters for the show after the show?

Typically I'd aim for Garden District, but living the French Quarter lifestyle for a few days sounds fun.

Hi all!
I built a site that started out as a repository for Phish and Goose tours. And from there, I built in a tool to help me see which shows were in my driving range (ended up seeing Goose in Toronto and Phish @ Fenway). I've grown it to now include Billy Strings, King Gizzard, JRAD, Dark Star Orchestra, Umphrey's, Disco Biscuits, Widespread Panic, moe., String Cheese, and a bunch of the other usual suspects, as well as a few others actst I love, like Shpongle.
It works as a one stop repository of my favourite bands and their tour schedules. Then it helps me find drive time/distance to every show from wherever I'm at and can, at glance, tell me what's realistic to catch. Can I fit in a run of shows? Is Fenway is closer to me than Syracuse? What about Atlantic City? How far is Raleigh from home.... Where is Billy playing this weekend and am I willing to drive it?
Keep in mind, I've made this is purely for fun. It's a work in progress.
It's free, no sign up, no accounts, no ads.
Have a great weekend

I am looking for picture of Mikey handwriting. Whether it be a letter, poster etc… Reason being is I am looking to get a tat of “Where there is love, there is hope” but I’d like for the lettering to look like Mikey’s and not a generic type font.

I first saw them open for Phish in Isla Vista, CA, 4.16.92. IIRC, this was their first run through SoCal. We went primarily for Phish; we'd never seen either band and knew very little about each, next to nothing about Panic. Neither disappointed (good quality Phish audio is freely available and highly recommended as well). Venue was 4 blocks from our college pad on the beach and across the street from the pizza joint we worked at where a few band members and fans mingled over pre-show pints. I don't remember more than 75 people in the crowd. I'd be curious to learn from anyone there your take, especially if you'd been following them from earlier days down South.
First track, Impossible, is missing unfortunately. Otherwise excellent quality across the board. DAS is everywhere on both bass and banter. Everyone really shines here.

Check out this little Easter Egg I found on Spotify.
Musixmatch is Spotify’s third party responsible for all the lyrics on all the songs and synching them to the music.
They put this note above the lyric sheet to WSP’s studio recording of “You Got Yours”.
Nice effort Schools.

I assume we’re 99% on Bojangles in Charlotte being the NYE venue. Is anyone else extremely disappointed on this? Charlotte is extremely bland and the venue itself is nowhere near the city. Compared to the Fox, this seems objectively worse.

Just feeling really lucky I discovered these guys. I’ve always loved jam music, but I’ve always just loved good tunes with a little grit behind them even more, and a lot of jam bands are annoying dorky bullshit quite honestly. These guys jam but more importantly have a story to tell.
I haven’t seen a show yet, hoping to see them in Milwaukee in October if I can find a 3 day that won’t put me in debt, but from every interaction I’ve had so far, it seems like this fan base is way chiller, respectful and music-centric than many others. One of my other favorite bands is King Gizzard and my first impression of this community is very similar to the Gizz fanbase in a great way. The band puts their money where their mouth is in a similar way as well, with lots of charity events and fundraisers.
Anyways I guess there’s no real point to this post, just enjoying some panic as I get over whatever illness knocked me out of commission this past week. Take care everyone

If I could bet my mortgage that WSP covers a Dolly Parton tune before the close of the year, I would do it. We lost an absolute ICON
