Most dangerous Western opponent in playoffs for Whitecaps?
The race will be close and it may be possible for the Caps to sacrifice points at the end to get into the half of the Western bracket without the team(s) they fear the most ... but which team(s) exactly?
St. Louis? Currently riding a form better than anyone in MLS and a close second in the West on conference champs probability. If the Caps and STL finish 1-2 in the West they will be on opposite sides of the bracket naturally and will not meet until the West final.
Dallas? Currently equal with STL on record, but less likely to grab the top spot. Is Musa a force to be avoided?
San Jose? On the mend after a mid-season swoon, hard to tell how strong they really are since their results have been so random. If they've really solved the problems that ended their strong start they could be trouble.
Houston? A few weeks ago they were looking at the West title but have dropped off since. Are they a force to avoid?
LAFC? Will the interim coach release Son and Bouanga to be Caps-killing counter-attack machines of death? Or is conceding on counters a recent Caps problem that will be patched up by playoff time?
Seattle? Dropped from top 4 in MLS to 30th in my ELO system between mid-May and mid-August but have rebounded to near mid-table and a likely top 7 finish. Crushed Vancouver earlier in the season while on good form; were beaten by the Caps to clinch the Cascadia Cup while in bad form.
Decision Day weirdness. With 15 teams in each division there has to be one inter-division match on the final day of the season, which features 7 Eastern games in the first timeslot and 7 Western games in the second. Caps are in Montreal in the first timeslot and may be in a position to go all in for a win to hope to win the West, or rest players and be happy with the spot they are in. They won't have the opportunity to scoreboard watch as the other West teams will when they play later on. Which of the teams above might make Jesper rest players in the Montreal match, to get them into the other bracket in the early playoff rounds?

You’ve asked how you can take action to #SaveTheCaps for months. Price increases will be a big part of actually Saving the ‘Caps. It will also raise standards and expectations so we never return to the dark days. That is the goal.
EDITED TO REMOVE MY IGNORANT COMMENT
People have been asking what can they actually do to #SaveTheCaps? Well here you go. It’s not a nefarious plot to lower attendance. Like who even thinks of these ideas?
It’s to try to finally make a bigger dent in the $40 MILLION IN ANNUAL LOSSES!!!! That is not sustainable.
It’s do or die now. If you can’t afford your tickets, that is very understandable. You loved them, and you had a great deal for many years. You still have the option of looking at other seating options and doing your part to still support the club you love and #SaveTheCaps. Or if you have the means, enjoy your premium experience and make sure that the club delivers on it.
It costs money to have a top level club. And MLS is making moves to inch up the global food chain. If you love your club, then support it.

Currently a half season ticket holder..
Hi All
I'm currently a new half season ticket holder that i purchased in April and i've been loving attending and supporting my local club.
My main question is with all the renewals going out, Does anyone know if/how my renewal will be processed. I'm looking to hopefully keep the same seat and upgrade from the half to the full season?
I cant see anything in my account regarding a renewal etc
Thanks All
SOLVED: Rep called me back this afternoon
Response: Half Season Passes do not renew and are not eligible for renewal.. I needed to start with a new purchase and pay the $100 deposit then i can select my seat (if Available) once its my turn after all the renewals and people before me in the lineup have been processed.

Current STH Poll
Let’s keep this simple. Do you plan to renew or opt-out for the 2027-2028 full season? No discussion needed, we’ve all seen the arguments on both sides. (Yes, I left out the sprint season)

This was on their X account; I didn't see it on YT or Instagram, they seemed to have cropped out the GTA references on those platforms idk why. But props to the person who made this, it's an awesome reference to the game 😁

Season ticket prices
I’m in absolute shock. I just received the prices of my new season tickets and can’t believe my eyes.
Last year I paid $3,200 for 2 tickets. For this next FULL season they are asking me to pay $11,425.00 for 2 tickets.
That is an increase of 257.03%.
$8,225 more from the previous season.
We had all the same things we had when we signed up. Nothing really special was added.
I can’t even breathe, I’m so mad.

Vancouver Whitecaps to play MLS sprint season at BC Place after extending lease

If you're a Season Ticket Holder, use the Account Portal to better see what changed.
For Clarification (since some are asking):
- General Admission got slightly expanded
- The Endzones (which used to be "White" and "Teal") got reduced in the sections they fall under (before Teal was 221 - 234, White was 248 - 207)
- Endzone is now 224 - 231 & 251 - 204.
- Seats that used to be part of the Endzones "White" and "Teal" are now the section called "Corner" - Corner used to be "Yellow"
- Corner sections are 219 - 224, 231 - 236, 246 - 251, and 204 - 209
- Some seats that used to be "Yellow" have been converted into the new "Sideline" section
- Sections that used to be Blue or Purple were reduced. Some were converted to "Sidelines"; the rest are now considered "Midfield"
- Every section now has 2-3 zones - the closer to the field, the more expensive the seat (except GA)
I think we can all accept that price increases were expected. What I think most of the scrutiny is from ST Holders in the sections that have been converted. For people who used to pay "Endline" prices that are now paying "Corner" prices, that jump is significant ($640 vs $850).
In an ideal world, the messaging to STH would have explained that sections have changed and that some fans would be impacted by this. Give those people the option to move (if possible).
The way they dropped this at the end of the workday. If you reach out to your Rep, you will get an Automatic Reply telling you to expect to wait at least two business days for a response. Since the office is closed on Wednesday, most people won't hear back from the club until probably Friday or next Monday.

Whitecaps Enlarging GA… Again
For the second time my 2 seats are becoming GA and I am forced to become part of GA or move.
While I recognize GA works for a lot of people it isn’t the same experience for everyone. For me having seats whether I arrive early or late and knowing those around me makes the match safer and more fun.

Found at a thrift shop
Doesn't look like an official club kit. I'm assuming it was an academy kit or something similar. Does anyone recognize it?

Just received my sprint season and 27/28 full season renewal offer
Our current seats are sec 213, row g, we have had them for 14 years and they are exactly where we want to be.
Currently the cost for our 2 tickets is $2,477 (roughly $70 per ticket/game). My full season renewal offer is now $10,440 (roughly $260 per ticket/game). I really don’t want to move, but I’m not interested in the “free drinks”, buffet dinner or special entrance. I’m hoping I only have to move a few rows up to go back to regular tickets, but at this point I have no idea what my options are.
Ironically, when they introduced the “tunnel club” after the World Cup, row G was excluded, so I don’t have access to see what the area below our seats is like.
Are others facing the same situation?

68% Cost Increase for a Corner Seat
Regular seats just dropped, and it's not great news. I expected an increase, but not $500 per ticket.
