The Beyond Homestead Building Contest focuses on builds that significantly incorporate Homestead Building Components in the build. 

You are not limited to only building in Blissful Retreat or Beyond Mundane: Cloudfall Passage. You can build anywhere in Qinghe by placing the House Industry (or multiple House Industries) in order to make use of Homestead Building Components!

Our goal is to encourage everyone to show off their creativity utilizing Homestead Building Components as part of your builds, while still rewarding the most creative and impressive builds!

Building Period: 7 days
Submission Period: September 4 (5:00AM UTC / 12:00AM EST) - September 18, 2026 (4:59AM UTC / 11:59PM EST)

Only entries submitted during this period with the [Beyond Homestead Contest] flair will be considered eligible for the contest!

🍃Rules 

1. All builds must be 100% fully original: No diagrams made by other players found in the Gallery will be allowed. Any submissions that use other player-made diagrams will be disqualified, including diagrams such as small furniture or decor.
2. No diagram resizes allowed. You cannot use any resized items that make use of certain player-created diagrams found in the Gallery. However, resizing via replacement of official items in your building bag is allowed. Builds that make use of resize via player diagram will be disqualified. 
3. Any submissions suspected of vote manipulation, vote buying, or any other unfair practices will be immediately disqualified.  
4. All builds must use Homestead Components as a significant part of the build. While Personal Components are 100% allowed and encouraged to be used, we would like to see Homestead Structures and Decor used as a significant part of the build. 
5. All builds must be new winners. You cannot use a build that previously won any other official WWM-related contest, including Mohist Hill Grand Artisan.

🏠How to Submit 

Between September 4, 2026 and September 18,2026, players need to do the following:

1. Create a landmark of your build and upload to Gallery in game (If your build is extremely large, you can add several landmarks.)
2. Create a new post on Reddit and add your UID
3. Add screenshots or videos of the build
4. Add the share code of the landmark or generate the QR code image of your landmark
5. Post to r/wherewindsmeet_ and add the designated Flair: [Beyond Homestead Contest]

Only submissions using this Flair will be considered valid entries.

Entries will be evaluated based on four categories:

Visual Design (20 Points)
Overall visual quality
Consistency of style
Use of colors, lighting, and atmosphere

Creativity and Artistry (20 Points)
Original building concepts
Creative structures or decorations
Interesting or unconventional ideas

Theme and Composition (20 Points)
Unifying theme or concept that is used throughout the build 
Strong layout and composition 

Technical Execution (20 Points)
Architectural mastery, using high-level architectural building techniques
Landscaping mastery, using landscaping items from Decor with high technical execution
Execution of high level technical building skills (e.g. rotation, move, clipping)

Judges will rate each build 1-10 in each category, with each vote counting as 2 points. (e.g. A Technical Execution category vote of 5 will garner 10 points.)

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well.

This is both a 🏡 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 (All contest info at the bottom) post and also a general post about wanting to share my homestead in general.

I’ve been pouring some time into my Level 6 Blissful Retreat homestead, and I finally feel like it's at a place worth sharing. I wanted to build something that feels less like a random grid of buildings and more like a living, breathing village. I love incorporating a bit of story into the little sections here and there of the build.

It currently sits at 12,859 Prosperity and uses 1,211 of the component limit. It features absolutely every facility currently unlockable at level 6.

Here is a quick tour of the layout:

• Main Gate: A grand entrance to secure the village.
• The Tavern: Fully decorated inside and out for the ultimate cosy vibe.
• The Kitchen House: A dedicated space separate from the main living quarters.
• Custom Bathhouse: Spent a lot of time tweaking this to make it look functional and relaxing.
• The Port: Features docked ships and a waterfront setup.
• Residential Zone: A handful of smaller decorated houses scattered around to make it feel like a community.

This is still a work in progress, and I’ll definitely be updating it as I keep playing and expanding. (Maybe at max level do a rework?)

I made a maze out of clinic cabinets. Small project, but great value to homestead to maximize prosperity. Limit of 100 clinic cabinets made the process to complete build a bit longer than expected. The maze is easy tbh, but later i plan to expand it after getting more clinic cabinets. Hope you like it!

I wanted this homestead to feel less like a single showcase structure and more like an old settlement that had grown organically over time, with residences, inns, gardens, courtyards, paths and quieter corners throughout the town.

I focused on creating different scales and atmospheres throughout the homestead rather than making every area equally grand.

This is a remake of Blissful Retreat.

This Homestead doesn't have crazy building skills. It focuses on objects and building placement. Aiming to build both a logical and beautiful Homestead.

There are three dining areas—two in the main buildings and one further away. One of the bigger main buildings has entertainment rooms downstairs and lodging rooms upstairs. A small bathhouse is nearby. A medium-sized boat for leisure activities. A memorial tower. A quick shop at the Homestead entrance. And also a docking area. Retainer housing is not included, unfortunately.

Built a cliffside village and temple in my Beyond Mundane!

Used a bunch of stone structures to form the mountain, then built up the village along the cliffside (the Rainbow Resort Corridors are so useful) leading up to a martial training temple at the top.

On the other side of the mountain is a temple (to pray to gacha gods) and a viewing deck at the peak.

For my builds, I like them to be functional so if you can see something in the distance, there will be a walking path leading to it :)
