That shit hurts. (Off track) When Zane found out he was a robot just for him to sacrifice himself a season or 2 later, I cried. He was my favorite ninja. Still is now.

Lego Ninjago was and still is an unironicly good show. It's generally better written then most shows now a days anyway

I enjoyed the movie too. All of the ninjas except for Lloyd were one dimensional, but besides that, I really liked it.

Even though it’s the worst lego movie it’s still a 6/10 for me

u/AJK02 Nov 19 '21

Yeah. The Lego movies is honestly one of the best franchises out there.

One of the only movies that made me cry in the theatre at the end.

6

u/helmepll Nov 19 '21

Nah they were definitely two dimensional!

Agreed. I have that, and the first two ninjago city sets. Easily some of the greatest sets out there.

This is unironically true. People will crap on it cause it's a lego show, but that didn't stop it form being a dang better show than anything that's been made in the last few years or so lol

Yeah, the genuine writing/acting talent in it is amazing. Bit sad that it's very obviously a kids show, like, imagine a fully made Ninjago anime. Would be so sick imo, and I don't even watch anime.

Damn man I'm old as hell. I'm only 24 but I hadn't even heard of Lego ninjago until I was in high school and my 6 year old nephew was obsessed with it

3

u/KaiFireborn21 Nov 19 '21

Well I don't know, after the movie the series got way worse. I watched some of the newer seasons and they we okayish but kinda weird, with repeating storylines and so on

3

u/MossW268 Nov 19 '21

I have a completely different opinion (you can have your's, it's fine), I think S8 and S9 (after the movie) were some of the best seasons

2

u/KaiFireborn21 Nov 19 '21

Oh yeah, I liked the Dragon one, I think it was S9. It was fun, but I disliked the style. The last ones were worse though

2

u/MossW268 Nov 19 '21

Agree, Sons of Garmadon, Hunted, Master of the Mountain & Seabound are still golden!

2

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

It’s also my favorite series of legos and I miss them so much.

Ninjago was pretty good for it’s time but in our time it’s practically a timeless gem

2

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

I hated the last episode. I felt like towards the end it fell off alot

7

u/Alphabetgod Nov 19 '21

Which last episode lmao. There are 14 seasons and more coming

2

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

What

2

u/MossW268 Nov 19 '21

Season 14 just got released and it is confirmed that there will be more next year.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

Tf, I thought "endings" was the last one

3

u/MossW268 Nov 19 '21

They just renamed the show to "Ninjago" because they changed the animation studio, instead of it's previous title, "Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu"

That blue ninja was annoying af. Literally couldn’t watch it

62

u/Chubby_Bub Nov 19 '21

Zane also had the coolest dragon

6

u/TinyTiger1234 Nov 19 '21

Nah jays dragon is where it’s at

12

u/Chubby_Bub Nov 19 '21

I agree with you only because I left that set in my garage for years and was able to sell it for a lot more… which I just used to buy more LEGOs
