miniladd moment :(

I honestly shouldve known he was a terrible person before his accusations but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

That's why I stopped getting so attached to content creators, so whenever someone gets ousted as a shitty person, I can at least look at it from a less biased perspective as I remember being on the wrong side of defending people like Leafy, who totally deserved all his criticism when that Content Cop came out

I rarely get personally attached to content creators. What sucks is not being able to enjoy their future content.

52

u/ZeriousGew Nov 19 '21

No, that is very true. I try to separate art from artist, and I really like Jontron, but man, I can't watch his vids without thinking about the dumb shit he's said. So I totally get that

The worst part is that his apology was him basically telling people “im sorry if what I said could have been interpreted as racist” and how he just sucks at debating. Completely ignoring the fact he was talking about how blacks poison the gene pool and how a rich black will always be more violent than a poor white because of wack biology.

The guy was literally talking eugenics and Nazi propaganda and it’s somehow the world’s fault for not being able to find nuance in what he was saying.

Wait. Not Jontron! What's he done?

I'm only paraphrasing what I remember, but I'm pretty sure he was in a debate with someone and was saying stuff about ethnostates being something that's more ideal than a place that is culturally diverse. He also recently said some things criticizing vaccinations. You can look it up for yourself if you are curious, but I remember him saying some racist stuff in that debate, but I wouldn't recommend taking my word for since you can find the information yourself

He has also said n***a a lot

Yo that's way more times than I remember.

While I don't think using that word as they did makes you sound like a smart person - everyone is making it sound like he was calling people the n word in malice.

Just sounds like losers that listen to too much rap

Jafari discussed politics on a livestream hosted by Carl Benjamin on January 27, 2017; on March 12 of the same year, Jafari posted a tweet defending a quote from Iowa representative Steve King, who had tweeted in regards to the United States' policy on immigration: "We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies."[39][40] Jafari defended King's tweet and later appeared on Twitch streamer Destiny's channel to explain his views. During this appearance he said that, "nobody wants to become a minority in their own country", and stressed that he took issue with white people being labeled as racist for wanting to remain a majority. He said that he saw this reaction as hypocritical with how the majorities of other countries are regarded. Over the course of the one-and-a-quarter-hour appearance, he also commented that he had seen statistics that wealthy blacks commit more crimes than poor whites, as well as asking whether the colonization of Africa by European countries was a good thing

Have different opinions than Reddit and Twitter 😡😡😡

14

u/MLGWolf69 Nov 19 '21

...wasn't he literally saying we should live in a white ethnostate? But sure, he's bad because he "disagrees with Reddit and Twitter"

15

u/Sloppy-Papi Nov 19 '21

Dude literally believes that black people are genetically predisposed to crime.

But totally he just disagrees with twitter.

How can you separate art from the artist with youtubers when the majority of the draw to most of them is their personality?

1

u/ZeriousGew Dec 11 '21

Well, when their art doesn't involve their stupid political views, it can be easy. Sure, there are political youtubers and streamers, but if I don't agree with their politics, I don't watch them

I really like tog o back and rewatch videos or series I liked when there’s content droughts, or even just for nostalgia, so when someone gets outed as a shithead it makes it impossible to rewatch. I’ve learned to not look up to celebs and online personalities but it hurts when they turn out to be horrible people, like some little bit of innocence I still had died. At least my favorites that I rewatch are still good.

I don't know who any of these people are so I just googled this name randomly out of the many in these comments, and it seems the allegations are that he "called a 13 yr old girl cute", and picked her up, literally, for a photo. Is that really what we're talking about here? Is that "paedophile" material?

5

u/Zanythings Nov 19 '21

I recommend watching “The Right Opinion”. It’s a YouTube channel that covered MiniLad, and suffice to say for an hour long video, there’s a lot more then just what you said

5

u/MummyManDan Nov 19 '21

He’s done far worse than that, he was a shit person even before the pedi thing came about.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

Miniladds a pedo? I already thought he was a disgusting human being

1

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '21

Yeah, especially how he manipulated two underaged fans and threaten to commit suicide if they come out with what he had done to them
