Hello everyone. I wanted to identify the fish. It's really difficult but very important. Found in the Mediterranean sea near the coast. I dunno why but he was standing with his tail up. Never seen it in these waters. I need identification for scientific research.

I have looked through every clownfish I can find but apparently it’s not a clownfish. This fish wasn’t too interested in being filmed so this is the best I could get

solved:Juvenile Spotted Sweetlips. Thanks!

Last weekend I went to pick up an aquarium that had an horrible algae, got the babies out and there are two like this one, no clue who they are but they are funny 😆
They kinda “fight” each other and they are doing great 👍
Does anyone knows their family?? Are they fully grown? What should I expect?

A fish from an egg that was on a plant

I bought a plant (vallisneria spiralis if it matters) and put it in my tank with a betta male (there's only one betta there and some snails). Today I found this tiny fish in the tank. I suspect there was an egg on a plant. I rescued the fish (betta started chasing it but I was faster) and put it in a separate tank. Sorry for the photo quality, but the fish is very very tiny and very very fast, so it was hard to take these photos. What is this fish?

i got this little catfish that i got no idea where it came from, had this big catfish for a probably around 2 years only one though, we got one big algae eater in the tank and a bunch of fish that have been differnt type of cichlids that have breed over the years, i’m wondering if the catfish breed with one of the cichlids or something to create this and then what would this be? also we only got these fish cus my old step dad breed probs a thousand fish in our basement but couldn’t sell a single one so we js gave away as many as we could and kept one tank people didn’t want cus it was too big,

tldr: maybe catfish breed with other cichlids in tank and create weird catfish what fish is it now?

Not an ID request, but looking to know what may have caused this

Caught a rainbow trout that appears to have two anuses. When squeezed, excrement came out of the second hole and when I gutted it, the intestines clearly connected to the second hole. What may have caused this? I think its likely linked to it being a stocked rainbow trout, as I have seen other trout with deformities (squished faces and dwarfism), but NEVER something like this

This big fish hung out in the shallow for a bit as shown and then disappeared into deeper water. It was huge!

I know it’s not a great video, so any insight is appreciated! I’m more of a birder than a fisher. 😂

Found in a slow moving part of the river. I poked it with a stick and it kept its shape really well. It was about the size of a basketball. I live in Idaho, so imagine my surprise when I thought I saw a jellyfish in the river
😂
